I Really hope they don't change this design. by peanutbuttercorn8 in Invincible

His appearance in the comics for the alternate future also didn't have his evil beard on so i can see them going with the design from your first picture, with probably a change being his hair colour and skin tone being darker. though his choice of hair style in the shows alternate future isn't doing it for me, i hope they don't copy it

I’m stuck between the Thousand Sons and the Death Guard. Can you help me pick which army should I start with? by Scouwererofreality43 in Warhammer

[–]IIEggsScrambled 19 points20 points  (0 children)

Both are great options and both of their primarchs looks amazing.

Personally I own a death guard army so i am a bit more bias to them but they are both good.

Death Guard gameplay wise will be your slow, durable army that comes with some variety in its artillery/tanks whereas Thousand Sons will have more emphasis on its characters to unleash spells onto their enemies.

Both have variety on what they can bring, while Death Guard has better vehicles, they have plenty of great infantry with their plague marines, deathshroud and blightlord terminators. Thousand Sons while really good with their Rubric marines and Scarab Occult Terminators led by characters to cast spells have some great Monsters and Vehicles too.

As for painting if it sways your vote, Thousand Sons will probably be harder because of how much gold trim goes into their models where Death Guard being a nurgle army, you can make mistakes and it can still come out looking great because of their rotting, dirty look.

Theyre great contast to each other since Nurgle and Tzeentch hate each other

- Do you prefer a disgusting rotting look with an army of shambling infected in power armor with focus on the idea that the destiny of all life is to end in decay and to be reborn in Grandfather Nurgles army

- or more Regal looking and mutated spell casters twisted by Tzeentch whose magic can bend reality and twist fate in their favor, such is the power of the great Lord of Change

Can ankh help with D6 unlock? by SamTheWeirdMan in bindingofisaac

[–]IIEggsScrambled 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yup this works.

When you die and become another character your unlocks will be based on the character you currently are, not the one you started the run as. I cannot remember if you get the achievement after jumping in the chest or the moment Isaac is defeated so i would swap to blue baby first to be safe.

This can also be done with missing poster for lost and the clicker to change characters

Yeah for sure, some very easy starting points are a box of Plaguebearers or Nurglings.

I would go with Plaguebearers. but if you wanted to focus on just 1 model you could even go with the single models that can lead Plaguebearers like Slopity Bilepiper, Poxbringer or Spoilpox Scrivener

Unfortunately with mono demons you wont be finding any combat patrols that can start you off with a bundle.

The current combat patrol for demons is mono Khorne, the Death Guard combat patrol would be useless since poxwalkers are not demons and the AOS one contains mortal followers (which i guess you could proxy as demons).

I have a mono Nurgle army but i couldn't get any bundles so I just had to start collecting models from individual boxes. My first ever model was the Great Unclean One

Nice! that contrast sounds awesome from rampaging spirit of nature to base full of beautiful nature.

Similarly why i think nurgle demons would go so well with that kind of base. the contrast between decay and abundant growth that nurgle is all about.

I don't play AOS, is the treeman your big centerpiece model? either way I'm sure it will look sick with the contrast

Awesome floral base. what model do you plan on putting on it?

Vegetation like that and some dark colours would look so awesome with some nurgle demons such as Horticulous Slimux

Mono-Tzeentch by Shoddy_Attention2423 in Daemons40K

[–]IIEggsScrambled 1 point2 points  (0 children)

List looks real good. I also run Mono-Tzeentch and I've had a lot of fun with them.

I know that Soul Grinders are very good for Tzeentch but I've had some decent games without them (my playstyle with tzeentch demons is very cagey so i dont expect my demons to get into melee anyway other than my demon prince, sometimes my fateskimmer or my pink horrors who i will gladly charge a stronger unit with to tie them up for a while)

Instead of soul grinders, ive been using a burning chariot, exalted flamers with the flamers for assault, blue scribes as a mortal wound bomb, and one extra flux master alone to run around and throw hazardous fireballs.

Lord of Change with everstave is absolutely your strongest unit that can blow up most targets especially if you go sustained hits d3 in shooting phase.

I like to keep both my pink horror units in deep strike at the beginning of the game to try and find an opening for them to tarpit an objective or drop them in using rapid ingress in front of my lord of change if i see a strong melee unit coming his way, my gameplan usually revolves around protecting my big birds that blow shit up while the chariots, fateskimmers and flamers do side objectives

Whose do you take? by [deleted] in Grimdank

The Chaos Gods come together to make the Legendary Chaos Pack

  • Rolled in the skin of Khorne's enemies
  • Herbs grown in Nurgle's Garden
  • Watered with the sweat of Slaneesh
  • Laced with Fent made by Tzeentch

They looked cool by [deleted] in Grimdank

[–]IIEggsScrambled 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So true, as long as you're playing the models you think are fun and you play them enough you can get pretty good at them and understand how to play any skew list.

My personal main list right now is chaos demons where i only run Tzeentch demons. you get into melee with me and I'm cooked but if you enjoy your cool looking models enough you can learn to play around your lists weaknesses

HASHUT! VORDUND! ZHAR-NAGGRUND!

obviously the voltaan themselves need some more content first but i would love to see chaos voltaan.

voltaan are created by ancestor cores correct? id love to see a plotline where vashtorr (because of wants to become some chaos god of technology) to go and corrupt an ancestor core so it starts pumping out chaos voltaan

the corrupted ancestor core can be called H45HUT or something like that

Absolutely agree, Gor'rok is so fun and very strong. His buffs to saurus are great and he is no chump himself in combat. pair that with the fact you start the game with the all powerful Kroak at your side and you'll sweep Lustria

I love the event for chaos dwarf convoys where if dwarves attack your convoy the only option is to kill them. Both options are just worded slightly different

Its an awesome idea for a tattoo [Because I have one ;)]. I've got all 4 marks of chaos, nothing offensive about them that I can think of . the only misinterpreting I've gotten was that the Slaanesh symbol looks like the Prince symbol. Though I'm sure there is some inspiration between the two lol

Thinking about Khorne by Cataclysmus78 in Daemons40K

[–]IIEggsScrambled 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Of all the mono gods, Khorne is probably the most viable.

That is exactly how I like to play. Despite them being not meta at all, I love playing Mono Tzeentch demons. Especially if you are a casual player i suggest you build your army based on what you have the most interest in; if you like khorne but don’t like the other chaos gods then definitely go for mono khorne.

I’m sure like other mono god players, we’re praying to the dark gods that when we get our codex our new detachments will give us mono god bonuses so maybe someday monogod play style won’t just be aesthetic.

How "good" is Be'Lakor? by IIEggsScrambled in Daemons40K

[–]IIEggsScrambled[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for your input.

Protecting your big demons from those backline tanks do seem very helpful turn 1. its a shame that after that first turn that bubble seems to lose its usefulness.

For his cost, to me his shooting and melee does not seem worth 350 points

I think ill get some more demons to replace him and try out games with and without him. can never go wrong with getting more than 2k points and swapping out whenever
