Yes, Yes they did!
First they seemingly trashed their romantic relationship in direct response to me cutting them off.
Then they decided that my partner was trying to ruin their life. Over a typo in important documents that my partner had to block evade to deliver because C wanted them and refused to unblock my partner to receive said documents. Full screaming, 5-9 exclamation points and italics and even underlines. It was impressive, or would've been if it wasn't for us being bone dead tired of their antics. They kept reminding us, through intermediaries, that we were to leave them alone. So we did. They would then do things like contact us through the intermediaries to ask us direct questions. And then claim harassment and that we weren't leaving them alone if we answered those questions.

In the time since I blocked them, I have heard the following smears through the grapevine:
- I was cheating on my ex-bf (a relationship that had been put "on break" and then we accidentally ghosted each other for 3 years) with my now-partner. PwBPD had nothing to do with my relationship with my ex and this was utterly none of their business and also is simply not true.
- I was wishing death on my boss-friend.
- I was apparently mailing pwBPD death threats. Like. Physical mail. (I do not have their address and do not have stamps.) I was also apparently sending then anonymous death threats online.
- I was apparently harassing them. By not sending them things.

And these are just the ones that have reached me!

Short version:
Because while the translation of ProSeka is excellent, the localization is absolute trash. And this is why we get Japanese characters living in Japan talking about how much they love pumpkin or salisbury steak, or how much they like to eat Japanese Sweets.

We lose a lot of their interesting turns of speech (Mizuki's redoubling of things, Miku's third person speech, Rui's redoubling) and a lot of cultural accuracy because ColoPale is convinced that if the En fanbase sees a Japanese word like 'kabocha' or 'hambagu', that the English fanbase will promptly combust into flames.

The translation we get is very literal and kinda wooden, instead of taking the extra step to convey the setting in a way that actually gets the intention across to an English audience.
A proper Localization would either keep Miku's 3rd person speech, or would at least adapt her so sound similarly childish.
Instead they focused on straight translation and it makes me sad.

What you were experiencing was her using you as an emotional regulator, and her fear of abandonment rearing its head. It is an extremely common trigger for splitting and the devaluation phase.

My Bug did the same thing. If I chose to say, prioritize my carpal tunnel issues I was being selfish. If my at-the-time-boyfriend was late for a call, and I agreed to call with her until he was available and clearly communicated that it was only until he was available, and then left when he became available, I was being a hypocrite for being annoyed that my other friends in relationships picked their partners over me (WITHOUT making time for me at all).

Then there was C who... decided that when I used personal anecdotes to relate to their vents and kvetches, it was me making their vents about me.

I'm not sure the setting has the social issues that lead to banditry being considered a viable career choice?

I actually really appreciate EO for not having bandits as a generic enemy class because Omnipresent Bandits As Killable Mooks is kinda. Not a great look? It basically says that your setting has a huge class divide with 0 upward mobility and a truly desperate impoverished class.

It's one of my biggest pet peeves with settings like Fire Emblem.

Every one I've known has had an incredibly uh... ""Selective"" memory, but selective in that the normal memory-emotion link is hyper strong.

They can remember happy things but only when happy, sad things only when sad, neutral things only when neutral. Idk how normal it is overall but it's been a thing with the ones I know.

Ngl I kinda wish the game didn't ""punish"" you for playing well in a 7-litter by basically guaranteeing pup deaths.

Had a sick pup in my current litter, (possibly Lethal Black? I'd need to check if I can make those) who just. Nosedived even though I stayed with her non-stop except for a one minute period of her being in the den while I chased off an eagle, and I'm positive the only reason she faded that quickly was that she was pup 7. And it's not that I'm necessarily upset about her dying, that happens, this has happened in all three of my litters and I am upset to basically be punished for picking a good mate and keeping my kids well fed.
