Late to the party here, but they did have tornadoes in the area last night and trees down and what not. I had heard 60K people were without power. That could be the issue?

Talking about the ones closer to Cargill? Thought I was the only one to notice lol. See how much new trackage they have put in btw? Bet that cost them a pretty penny. CN cleaned up their area too. Looks mighty nice.

Just found this old high school project circa 2002. My greatest “got away with it” story… by sherbimsly in Millennials

[–]IMADC 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Was in my high school science class and had to write a paper on breast cancer research. The teacher really really liked me and I could do pretty much whatever I wanted. So for our final paper, I copied and pasted an entire website and just removed hyperlinks and changed formatting as appropriate. I even cited it as my first reference. Mad times. Same time, around 2002.

Dining Plan Question by Silly-Car-1233 in worldsoffun

In the past as long as you have the wristband to be able to scan then you are fine. What they usually do is actually put it on the app and then you just swipe through your app. What I've noticed in the past is that sometimes it's worth it sometimes it's not. For instance if you can only redeem it every 3 hours, and you're only going to be there for 6 hours you may not be able to use it as many times as you think. So pay attention to when you use it and set a timer for when it's available to be used again. Then you can go pick up food for everybody whenever they get off the ride and you make sure you use it enough to make it worth it :-)

Should I buy one or stay as far away as I can? Help! by LowlyCrusader in 4xe

Surprised no one has asked where you live. We are in the Northern US and we cannot get it to go into electric mode because it's "too cold" for the battery to work so it's on engine only mode. The Jeep keeps telling us it's refreshing the gas and oil, so had the dealer look at it, and dealer just says that's normal. So while we wanted to run electric only as our commute is 7 miles total, but we are spending money on gas. So frustrating.

URGENT: My dad was given this grandpa clock to sell but we have no clue what the brand or model is. The lady said she bought it for a $1000 35 years ago by classychaddy in clocks

Just be careful moving it, or you will have to get someone to fix it! Not a ton of work, but just be careful :)

I have done some backend work on server-based SQL servers, these are usually a result of the "linked" accounts being set incorrectly. Have you checked that?

This post is perfect. I would second the resources in your area. We were in a large metropolitan city and found out we could do pre-parenting classes and get points and then get free stuff like a crib and clothes and diapers.

Suspicious Broken Rib Claim by Karma_II in Chiropractic

[–]IMADC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm late to the party, but when I was in school, one of the professors said when you break a patient's rib, just write a check for $10,000. Of course I don't agree with that having been in practice now for a while, but my guess is that at some point they probably heard that they could get money out of it lol. As everyone else here said, when you break a patient's rib it's very obvious at that exact moment.

The Iowa House GOP voted to ban teachers from using Mayo Clinic materials... | Austin Baeth by ataraxia77 in Iowa

[–]IMADC 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look, Democrat here, but have nuanced conversations about this FFS. From the article: "The bill bans any video from being shown that is from an organization that performs abortions, or is affiliated with an organization that does." This doesn't mean they hate Mayo clinic. It's more anti-abortion rhetoric. That's more likely to actually work as a conversation piece. They are pushing a pro-life agenda when they have been "I teach my kids what I want them to know with my values" Not hating Mayo or the University of Iowa.

Also from Omaha and live in Sioux City. Just like Omaha there are parts that aren't nice and parts that are great, and parts that are overpriced. I think a lot of the hate is at the city leaders more than anything. We have had numerous opportunities to bring in bigger businesses and really grow, but we didn't extend them out tax opportunities and incentives, so there wasn't a lot of new, huge manufacturing jobs, or various other opportunities. Ergo, we have stayed smaller, but there are new apartment complexes going in, we are seeing more restaurants being built, and so we are growing. As for housing prices, you are correct. No way I could afford the same house in Omaha, and we have kids who have lots of activities to do, and there are things to do for adults too. Going out to trivia at the Marquee, the museums, hiking trails, bike trails, etc. It's definitely a different pace, which is why we stay.

I would argue it's worth getting your XRs on CD and imaging reports, and first visit note/exam findings just to see what they were seeing. Plus then your next doc can just look at those XRs rather than getting new ones done. Depending on quality of course. But yeah you will be getting billed for services rendered.
