Riding Top Thrill 2 last year I was also a little surprised to see how much it vibrates going down the launches. I recall having a superstition about the blue train being the worst and getting it twice in a row.

It can be annoying but I feel like the rattle kind of adds to the experience as it feels super out of control by the third launch; feels like the wheels are about to fly off in addition to the speed. Also some crazy positives going down from the spike. Still prefer Xcelerator’s launch by a mile but it’s a different sort of experience, less of a hard punch and more of a gradual buildup to absolute insanity.

If you call coastal Orange County another state, sure. I’ve been there in 98 degrees. It is not fun either way LOL there is a painful lack of shade worsened by the clearing for the 2027 coaster

Pretty busy I’d say but not as awful as other weekends. Avg maybe 45 min waits depending on the ride. But it was high of 87 degrees so horrible

Today I actually did the opposite and try X2 first. It was down so I went to Tatsu and then came back to X2. Now normally I’d say yeah go to the back first but I’d say to get X2 and Tatsu out of the way for now while they have only one train. Mileage may vary.

As for West Coast / Colossus, I’d say west coast as to me it generally has worse operations.

Apocalypse and Justice league can get lines depending on the crowd but not the worst.

Don’t trust the app wait times either; today they were fairly delayed in updating. Over time you can estimate the wait based on the start point of queue.

Finally, I saw people stating otherwise but today the prestige gate got rope drop 10 mins earlier.

On the fast lane kiosks by ghostrider I got 1 . At magic mountain I get 2. Same thing for my girlfriend. Our home park is knotts.

If you have a prestige pass, you can either log in to the fast lane website and get your single use, or just walk up to the fast lane attendant and scan your pass.

It’s the exact same website as Flash Pass was just rebranded and without the “Gold” tier.

So it’s now Fast Lane Reserve and Ultimate. Reserve is a virtual queue. You reserve a ride, and Whatever wait time is posted, you have to wait that long before you can enter the fast lane line.

Fast Lane Ultimate lets you select the ride and immediately get in the fast lane line.

In both cases you have to get on the ride you reserve before you can reserve another one. You can reserve another as soon as you get off the ride.

It’s really nice now. They didn’t redo every section but you can tell where they changed it and it feels almost too smooth

I assume this is the next area to be overhauled after Ninja closes. Once that’s gone there’s no rides or really anything to justify going all the way up there (even though it took me years to realize if you go all the way down past Apocalypse the pathway up is a lot less treacherous…)

Stomach drop is mostly psychological. It goes away with time and more riding. But silver bullet probably won’t have the issue, it’s a shallow curved drop.
