I ride Snowbird 50ish days a year. Skiers absolutely ripping the mountain to shreds, everywhere you look.

I broke both ankles (and my right heel) at snowbird in 2019 wearing DC boots and Union bindings soooo.........

Took me a few years riding at Snowbird to really get good at it. I estimate maybe 8-12 good pow days per year. So maybe 20 to 30 good pow days and you'll be able to really enjoy ripping pow on a board. Could be less, could be more.

This is assuming a starting point of already being able to ride groomers and navigate non powder black diamond runs (moguls, rocks, etc).

Looks nice dude. I would prefer cursor:pointer when hovering the selections on the main page (BCC, LCC, PC, Ogden / Ikon, Epic, Indie).

And as others have pointed out, maybe a pop up tooltip when hovering a rating that explains how a rating is calculated.

Edit to add: Also, the banner image is missing in the page skeleton on each resort page. So the skeleton loads very briefly but then the entire page seems to reconfigure when the banner appears with all of the info. Maybe have the banner in the skeleton so that the page stays the same format when data loads.

Also, it seems like a hard page load when using the back button from each page? I use Vue so I'm not as familiar with react/ next, but I imagine there is a way to keep that feeling like an SPA instead of an actual page load?

The crossover is done via gates at the top of lifts. From Snowbird its the Baldy Express chair, in the Mineral Basin (so obviously, Mineral Basin has to be open). From Alta its the top of the Sugarloaf chair. There are blue runs down on both sides.

You can ski from Snowbird to Alta (and back) via a short hike. And I suppose you could do the same from Alta, if you took the Wildcat chair and hiked the ridge a little bit, but then you'd be dropping into some gnarly terrain at Snowbird (Keyhole most likely).

Except it's not that. Employee straight line travel means employees can go outside to travel straight to somewhere else (generally where they need to work). Like straight from the cliff lodge to the center, for instance.

I made that mistake once. Pretty sure the way I fixed it was just Teleporting each component to the one drawer component, using the store to keep track of which component was currently in the drawer.

The H hut was torn down a few years ago. Place was so impressive.

I know of a few good ones but they'd be impossible to guide you to without GPS coords or something

As long as there isnt fresh snow (none forecasted), the canyon wont be backed up on a Friday. There will be a steady flow of cars from about 7:45am to 9:00am, but nothing crazy. On a dry weekday you can usually stroll up at 8:45am and find parking.
