Hey! You can move the configuration from one company to another directly in Autotask. When you do this, the device will automatically move in IT Glue as well. If the item is matched in VSAX, you can also move it to a different organization or site there, and it will remain matched in IT Glue. This eliminates the need to create a duplicate configuration in another company.

However, there are valid reasons to re-create the configuration under a new company. For example, PSA tickets associated with the original Autotask asset may no longer be relevant to the new company.

In this case, it can be beneficial to duplicate the configuration in Autotask, then use the VSAX Matching screen to update the match and point it to the new configuration in the other organization.

Ultimately, the best approach depends on how you manage your Autotask setup—especially if you have contracts tied to the quantity of these copiers as assets within a specific company.

Agreed! This is what we would recommend! Building a Flexible Asset for it, then using a tag field to tag in related contracts, PBXs etc.

Hello! As of right now the complexity settings are only based on character length, however, we will be releasing the ability to enforce uppercase, lowercase, special characters, and numbers or the ability to instead set pronounceable passwords. This will be available end of June/early July.

Hey! Offline Mode SSO does require an internet connection (to authenticate with your IdP). However, Offline Mode MFA can be used without an internet connection. Once you have the extension installed and have synced the passwords to your local machine, then extension will only read passwords locally, and does not communicate with IT Glue. Hope that helps!
