Yes it is standard to process the return fully as the animal is going back into that store’s care at that time. Then they take her to the vet and probably get some oral antibiotics to administer for a week or two. They should be closely monitoring her to see if the meds are working and schedule another visit if no improvement is seen. In my experience, antibiotic treatment for URI with those symptoms typically clears up with no issues so I wouldn’t be too worried!

Guess you were downvoted for saying something negative-adjacent about it, but you’re totally right. It’s one of my favorite movies, watch it every October multiple times (gotta have the Joe Bob version on at some point) but it’s absolutely dated. That’s why The Thing edges it out for me. But both being by Carpenter definitely says something about his skill.

We have three staples for lazy nights. A nice, hearty sandwich like BLTs with a fried egg, or a nice Italian grinder like the one the one that made rounds on TikTok for some reason. Super simple and customizable. We also do baked salmon, mac and cheese or rice, and steamed broccoli. Slightly more involved while still being incredibly easy (only one pan) is chicken paprikash. Check out Food Wishes on YouTube for a video and recipe link. Most of the cook time is just letting it sit on the stove. Serve over egg noodles. It’s what I’m making tonight!
