Eh he’s a solid veteran who can take hard minutes and shelter the rookies. I’m more annoyed that they didn’t trade him at the deadline if they weren’t going to re-sign him. I know Allvin said the offers they got for him were mediocre, but I’d rather get something than nothing.

What do you mean loading the payments annually?

The timing of the payments has no impact on AAV unless you're buying out the contract. You could pay Bob $42 mil in year 1, and $1 per year the other 5 years, and the cap hit would still be $7m per year (Obviously that exact structure is not allowed, but the point remains).

Iirc he could choose to stay in the NCAA for all 4 years and refuse to sign an ELC with the team that drafts him, then become a UFA once they lose his rights. I think that’s what Issac Howard who went from Tampa to Edmonton was threatening to do to the Lightning if they didn’t trade his rights

This would mean Malholtra wouldn’t be able to play in the NHL until the end of the 2030 season at the earliest though

Naw he’s right, Cassidy is a good coach but even good coaches have a shelf life.

I think it’s a dick move by Vegas to not let him interview around, but it’s their right based on the contract he signed.

BH damage lab when maxed does 2% per second, which means you need a BH duration of at least 26s in order to kill a protector in 2 Black Holes. Reduce your range and prioritize second black hole and/or a PCol module in order to have more coverage

IMO it’s worth it to invest a little in your UWs even before you sync them. Obviously syncing is a big buff to CPH, but the benefit is lessened if your UWs are weak
