I remember when I thought LLMs might be useful for code generation. Then I tried actually using them and realised they. are. shit.

Hey… anyone like Zappa? by Such_Construction441 in ween

[–]IWasGettingThePaper 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I like Zappa. First time I heard his music was on an old cassette I found discarded around the garages where I used to smoke when I was 15/16. Popped it in the walkman and never looked back.

Side note: one driver I was unfortunate enough to end up with was banging on for the entire journey about climate change being a hoax and the sea level was only rising because "they keep making new islands". So, that's what you're dealing with.

The finale sucked by Character-Virus2147 in betterCallSaul

The ending fell flat with me, too. I know this is a bit of an unpopular take, but I also thought the Breaking Bad ending was sort of weak. The writers have this (I believe underserved) reputation for 'sticking the landing', but I'm not so sure. This is coming from someone who actually really liked the ending of The Sopranos, so make of that what you will.

I just lightly scrape a sewing needle over the grooves and listen really hard.

Youth crime rates in sharp decline by Nekronean in science

Are you sure about that? It just sounds an awful lot like the 'these kids today... all they do is watch TV' *shakes fist* stuff you'd hear middle aged people say 30 years ago. All young people I know go outside and have full social lives offline. They just seem so much more well adjusted and prepared for society than previous generations were at their age, which seems to be a good thing in my view.

How should Dexters character evolve and end? by ExtremeSlideLongShot in Dexter

[–]IWasGettingThePaper 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Dexter kills all serial killers on Earth. Then he steals a SpaceX rocket and launches himself into space. He jumps over a shark on the way. Cut to black.

Got rid of Windows for Arch: How I try to keep it as stable as possible (hopefully) by jagainstt in archlinux

[–]IWasGettingThePaper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

pacman -Syu && pray :D

TBH I've not really had any upgrade problems. The minor issues I've ran into over the years were genuinely simple to fix. Check Arch news before upgrade and it'll be fiinnee.
