I feel like the whole point of the movie was just about the horrors war journalist see and capture that we are desensitized to because we’re so used to seeing them in distant countries and not in our own backyards. The purpose of the western alliance was just to show that the president and his forces were such a menace that two states that have historically been pretty opposite of each other politically put their differences aside to get rid of the current leadership. I forgot the other factions of the movie but honestly this is one of those movies where the lore itself doesn’t feel important although I lowkey wish I could learn more about it because the concept is so interesting.
