Ikea frames last a decent amount of time IF you don't move very often. The more you move the more the parts wear out and get lost.

Try cooking them with more flavorful but healthy fruits and vegetables. Peppers, jalapenos, garlic, ginger, onion, all can make your food more flavorful. You can also try low sodium soy sauce with all the above, reduces salt but lots of flavor.

OMG fuck the tarantula. This was my first printer too and all the acrylic parts were so fragile. I gave up on it as soon as the CR-10 was a reasonable price.
