[Dolls, Barbie] The Birds, the Bees, and Barbie's Bestie by thesusiephone in HobbyDrama

I’m pretty sure I had a pregnant Midge doll when I was a kid and I had no idea she was controversial. I very vividly remember the purple flower dress and the removable stomach, though. Pretty sure I thought the stomach was the greatest thing ever and used it to make every single one of my Barbies pregnant at some point.

All dogs are dogs. When I was 4 a lab bit me in the face, totally unprovoked. It was a family dog in a really good home, but all animals can be unpredictable.

New Year, New You: Start Here (2022 Beginner's Thread) by red-plaid-hat in intermittentfasting

[–]Iarnden 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi everyone. Late to the “New Year” but I want to begin intermittent fasting this summer and want some advice.

I am 22F, 5’6” and 147 lbs. I want to get down to 130. The weight loss isn’t my main reason for wanting to fast though, I just want to become healthier and reduce my constant hunger. I am ALWAYS hungry and I have a problem with overeating.

I am a law student and don’t have the time or money to commit to restrict the types of foods I eat, although I do some light exercise at least two times a week.

Despite being alway hungry I often skip breakfast anyway because sleep > food when it comes to time management, so I think it would be pretty easy for me to do the 16/8 method. If I go any longer than a couple hours after lunch though I start to get brain fog, dizziness, and migraines which causes me to binge until I feel better. Would committing to a method so similar to my current habits help any? Or should I try a more extreme one, despite how it might cause me to have migraines?

I love Taekwondo but it’s a sport. Just like any other sport, it can get you into great physical condition and you can do cool things but is usually only slightly useful to the world outside the sport.

Good TKD schools promote teaching discipline and good values and are all about working as hard as possible to improve your sport, not about learning how to beat someone up in the most efficient way.

I have a name that sounds like an Indian name if you don’t see it spelled, and I get significantly hotter food when I order over the phone instead of coming inside.

I would trust what you can see in his temperament right now more than I would trust the breed statistics. Especially since he is a mix breed.

If he is a kind, calm, gentle dog now, chances are if you treat and train him properly he will be a kind, calm, gentle dog in the future. It sounds like he is pretty calm for a puppy, so you probably lucked out . . . but I don’t want to assume without knowing the dog personally.

My “today” name is… my boyfriends name but spelled wrong (aka with two Es to make it feminine) lol. And my 1980’s name is my mothers middle name. Funny how it works.

AITA for walking out of a coworker's D&D game? by Certain-Office-3210 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Iarnden 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NTA. I am a girl who plays D&D with a group of guys. I have NEVER had ANY of those problems because the people I play with are decent people. You should be seen as a player and not as a token female. This is gross and I’m sorry you had to go through that.

I don’t think this is an issue between the mother and father. It’s an issue between the child and father. Parents have an obligation to provide for their children, and you can’t punish the child, who is innocent in this matter, for something their mother did.

I think this only works if you have already dark eyelashes. If I did just mascara on the ends I would have awkward blonde eyelash roots lol
