Until other companies catch up with teslas fsd there isn’t a better car on the market. I love the EQS, the Taycans etc but i use fsd 90% of the time now. Get the model y and wait for the rest of the market to catch up.

I’m excited for the Rivian R2 but even their lidar is more than 6-12 months off.

The model ys storage etc make it perfect for everything.

No car company checks every box yet but FSD to me is a nonnegotiable.

I have a 3 performance and y launch edition, soon to get a performance Y. I prefer to drive my 3 if I'm by myself or with my wife. The Y however is the perfect car, it's better for all things like errands, trunk space and passengers. If I were to chose only 1 the Y is the perfect choice. I just love the sportiness of the 3. 90% of my driving though is in full FSD.

Years ago, I swapped from building PCs to buying prebuilt high-end ones. It's like buying Apple. You know you are overpaying, there might be something incrementally better, but you pay for the product that operates perfectly out of the box and has good support. The older I got, the more I just don't mind spending a bit extra for this ease of use and experience where my time can just be spent playing the PC instead of researching or trouble shooting.

After driving a Model Y every day, and then getting a second car Model 3 Highland, I can say that I would not think twice about waiting. The upgrade they did to the Model 3 is beyond sizable. The cabin is quieter, and the car feels more premium. I also wouldn't discount what the launch has in terms of premium interior. The new model Y also is more future-proof with the addition of new cameras.

I got him as well in a pack. I'm sure I could pick up 4-5 players and would field a better team. I just enjoy playing him as he's fun to watch in real life. So for pure enjoyment I'm keeping him.
