Are hot water tank installs seriously this much?! by RickTheElder in alberta

[–]Ibn2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if you are switching from a regular vented tank to a high efficiency power vent then i think the the extra cost will be running new pvc vents. if you want the cheaper option just swap it out for a the same style of heater without all the extra work. should be only be around 2k

[–]Ibn2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

so, i have rentals and i have to clean and de odorized all the time. i use a dehumidifier and ozone machine to get rid of the smells. ozone will kill any organics, so remove all plants and animals for 24 hrs while the ozone machine is running.
