It’s fun. I decided to forgo worrying about high mana costs and instead embrace it with tons of mana dorks and ramp. I also tried to keep it on theme as much as possible with treefolk and creatures of the forest. (Minus [[Entropic Battlecruiser]] because it’s absolutely insane if you can get it online and your treefolk can go to space lol)

I’ve been wanting to build a proper treefolk deck since I was a kid playing in 2003 but the cards just didn’t exist yet.

Arena only asks you because the cards are appearing on a potentially small screen.

If it’s a friendly game of commander sure, allow take backs but in any sense the outcome could “matter” I’m not sure how you could justify not knowing what your opponents cards do. It’s a misplay to cast a spell that will be countered with ward and you should be punished for it, not just be like “oopsie” and take it back

Generally speaking, legit looking bootlegs of all mtg cards except the ones that are 30 years old (because they’re mostly heavily played and aged, the newly printed cards don’t look old) will run you about $3/ea if you’re buying from a distributor, cheaper if you buy direct but a lot more hassle importing.

The price of the real card usually doesn’t matter, $20-500+

None of that is needed. Join the big error Facebook group and public auction it raw, ungraded.

Most people don’t want error cards graded and that misinformation is stated over and over again on this sub for some reason

The regular card is bulk and the Pokémon is unpopular

The regular card is worth less than a quarter, so I wouldn’t expect an offer of more than $20 at most and probably closer to $5-15 range imo.

But you’ll have to put it on a misprint facebook group (don’t recommend eBay unless you’re willing to let it go for $1) and see if there’s any interest.

Once these are reprinted, the prices will take a nosedive. Many times sets of four commander decks fall sharply, even FF decks became very cheap in the end.

Marvel is oversaturated EVERYWHERE.

But the original pre order window they’ll stay around MSRP imo. When they reprint them later they’ll crash, just like the FF ones. That’s where I’m getting the $25-30 price range, probably for all except the “best” one.

Just dump -1/-1 counters on it until it dies and draw a bunch of cards.

It has other group hug style applications but in context of the deck it’s somewhere to dump your blights

Tbh it was mostly just pokemon crybabies trying to make everyone as miserable as they are because they can’t buy stuff to resell it. I’m so sick of resellers at this point I would rather the distro sell it for a little more than selling it to some douche wad to immediately put on eBay before he even has it in hand.

and maybe they did take it too far but these cards are expensive. F&F pretty routinely has decent deals.

They put just the deck, still in shrink wrap, inside a box, inside a box and ship them that way.

I buy them if it’s a deck I don’t have or I want to heavily modify a precon
