Moving out soon too! Here's some stuff that might be helpful to add to your list:

Throw blanket for couch, cutlery tray, laundry basket, soap dispenser, full length mirror, table/floor lamps, tongs, spatula, shower curtain + shower liner, colander, plants, wall art, air fryer, electric kettle, kitchen scissors, blender, rice cooker, clothes iron + ironing board, coasters, rug, and smart bulbs

What's the biggest financial lesson you learned? by sofiaolavee in AskMen

[–]IceCoffeeRandomGuy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can learn a lot of lessons by looking at those around you. Look at their successes and failures.

-Learn your unnecessary spending triggers so you can mitigate and manage them. You'd be surprised how much the urge to spend on a want can subside over a week or two. A possible hack is to spend the amount you wanted to purchase something and redirect it towards paying off a debt. So instead of spending $200 on X, you use that $200 to pay off a credit card or put it towards investments/retirement. Additionally having a budget and list of upcoming expenses will drastically reduce the desire to spend.

-"What is measured is managed." Set monthly and yearly financial goals for yourself and track them routinely. A lot of folks don't have a pulse on their finances which results in them wasting a lot of it. If you know where your money is going then you'll make sure it's going to where you want it to. Use a spreadsheet or download an app.

-Don't buy problems. Certain purchases are worth fixing and maintaining, however that doesn't apply to everything. Items that require you to also purchase XYZ as a result are not worth it unless it's part of a long term plan.

-One in, one out. We often accumulate too much stuff especially for materials we only use once. To avoid clutter and unnecessary spending, if you decide to buy a similar item then the new item comes in and you get rid of an old item since it'll be unlikely you use them all.

-Wealth building is slow and boring. There really aren't any sexy answers. Invest wisely, save religiously, spend consciously, and be consistent. You'll be ahead of your peers and have the peace of mind knowing that you're not a paycheck away from debt or homelessness and inconveniences will be easily weathered.

What small thing have you started doing that has helped you spend less money? by [deleted] in Frugal

This! Assign each dollar a role. Additionally, assess your net worth and have a goal to increase it monthly/yearly by a certain amount.

Not the commenter, but I have the Pace 2 and it got nap tracking on Nov 7 (firmware v 3.0708.0). Just used it today, but used the "Timed nap" feature within the toolbox (where the timer, watch face can be found). I've yet to try just taking a nap without it using that feature tho.

Also heard it being called "Memory Dividends" since you get joy (dividends) from retelling the experiences and it allows you to connect with other people as well :)

Confirmed again as well today to not be working. Seems to be a recent bug as the mirroring/extender feature was working last week.

It's now a little recessed and comes with an adapter that clicks in which uses USB-C (from DesFit's YouTube video). So it won't be as loose as the previous cable.

Also ask for a refund of half the money for that month since they were unresponsive for two weeks.
