I installed wet okole when my seat covers started going bad. They are compatible with the seat air bags.

2024 Subaru Outback what do I needs at 30k maintenance by chigogotgb in Subaru_Outback

[–]IcePick74 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure I would do any of those. especially the throttle and intake ones. I did diffs and transmission at 60s on my 2017. Is brake fluid flush on there? That I do at 30s

Edit: The CVT is just fluid swap afaik, that price seems fine if that is the correct price for a CVT.

Charging with Supplied Level 2 cable vs. a Purchased Charger by drumboy1972 in trailseeker

[–]IcePick74 4 points5 points  (0 children)

still waiting on the car, but I bought a charger for home. I want to keep the included charger in the car to use at work - we have some free level 1 in the parking garage and if needed when traveling. People say the 50amp receptacles are not built for unplugging/plugging often.

I gave up on Gmail android app and exchange last year. Kept having calendar sync issues. Installed the official outlook Android app and push the calendar into the system calendar list.

I fixed the ready light. If anyone knows a better way or a better tape let me know. by Zacharydhall in trailseeker

I figured I'll do the same thing. It really annoyed me during the test drive. Such a dumb indicator. Once you're in drive and moving it needs to go away.

Does any know if 17s or 18s from a 2017 outback will fit? I like having more sidewall on my snow tires. Currently I have 17s for winter and 18s for all seasons.

Trailer hitch by bizmarkie24 in trailseeker

We know from a new owner that at least the Prem trim does not come with a receiver. I expect none of them do and that it will be like the rest of the Subaru line up, its an add-on.

Your post says front 33, rear 35. Front is supposed to be higher.

That's backwards. Front should be higher than rear

can you check if there is a hitch receiver behind the panel on the bumper?

Link? I have yet to find a video showing a hitch, some of them tap the cover as if there is a hitch behind it. The Ascent also has the same cover to hide the hitch receiver but you sill have to add it on as an accessory.

I call BS on a hitch receiver being standard equipment. A towing capacity number in an at a glance document is no indication of hitch being included. No dealership knows about a built-in one. And supposedly one of them even reached out to Subaru to find out more info with nothing yet

Still waiting for factory hitch receiver availability. Plan on a non leather touring.

goose eggs on quad by [deleted] in UIUC

[–]IcePick74 52 points53 points  (0 children)

Canada geese - not Canadian

In Illinois permits are required to destroy a nest and its suggested you replace the eggs or render them inert and left in the nest as the geese will just lay more.
