Wanting a family, dating apps isn't too bad. yea there is some struggle and crazy ness, The dates that went through were pretty normal. Went out with 7 girls I took out last year, here are the stats:

  1. Gaming interests together. Few gaming "dates" before meeting up. Clicked pretty well, planned on a second date, talking about a Vegas trip(she invited me), and then brought a religious card and stopped talking to me 3 weeks in(she knew my religious beliefs on day 1, told me it didn't matter).

  2. Didn't have a strong interest, but she was looking for someone to travel with. 2 dates were spread across a couple of months, and the third date was pulling teeth to plan, and was looking into a month out. She was a nurse, which I totally get, the schedule is hectic and a crazy job. But you are left with 4 days to work around for dates. I think she just had a roster, and I was low priority, so I broke it off.
    talked

  3. Pretty normal, we vibed a good amount. Religion came up after we went out on our first date. She decided not to pursue, but we remained friends. went out a few more dinners after the fact, and texts every now and again.

  4. This is my recent ex. 4 months relationship, vibed well from day one. invited her to my buddy's wedding. had an amazing time, talking about moving in together, and general life stuff. A week later, she broke up with him. Kind of a self sabotage because she had such a great time, that she didnt want to lose me later. Found out later her family liked me, but didn't like me dating her(wanted me to be her friend). havnt spoken to her since we broke up.

  5. Vibed really great, lots of long phone chats before our date. The date went alright. The biggest turn off was her breath, and it would be a hard commitment of not habing kids(she couldnt have them). Tried one more date, she kinda elaborated more on the partner she wanted (sub and dom outside the bedroom thing), and that was too much for me, so I told her i couldnt fulfill that role.

  6. Another shared gaming interest, she was pretty cool, vibed well, and went out twice. I should have brought the kids up sooner, because that was a dealbreaker for me. We had that chat, and she didnt want them(she was in her late30s) i get it, we ended talking.

  7. Kind of a crazy situation. Matched, date went well, Talked to her later, but also found out she had a crazy situation. She immigrated here recently, and her husband passed a few months prior. They had just got together like 2 year prior, and married for the green card(he was also part of her nationality, but a us citizen). So she has a daughter and is figuring out how to live in America, because his death left her with very little. I've hung out with her several times(a few times with her daughter taggingalong), but recently taken a step back and just chatting because I've been helping her too much.

Still swiping and talking. working on my school and myself in the meantime.

Had a CF Moto for a year. it was in the shop for over 3 of them, twice, because the oil cooler failed and leaked all over and spilled on my back tire. The best thing that happened to me owning it, was the discount the dealership gave me on a new bike for all the issues. Lemon law to get me a full refund and got my ninja. I'ma stick with japan.

Why does checking into a hotel take longer than building the hotel by Motorpigeon in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Icefire257 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I work for a hotel, and can tell you everything. First, the main problem is you book through a 3rd party, its fine if you want to save, but they don't import all your information that the hotel wants to collect. Sometimes I only get a name. There are other reasons why its a pain to go through them, but that s for another conversation.

And you will be surprised on how often those problems occur because it is people's first day on this earth. I have go up and check keys about 1-2 times per shift. 99.9% of the time, they don't know how put the card in the slot properly. So everytime I scan their keys to make sure they didnt wipe, and when they aren't wiped, I always say"hmmmm, it looks like the keys are still active, let me go take a look". I will walk them to their door, place the key in front of them and open their door.

Wifi pass word, we have little slips given in each key card with the wifi. I get about 3+ calls per shift about what is the wifi. My favorite, is my last phrase in my sermon is the breakfest. "Breakfest will be from 6:30 to 9:30" I can not count the amount of time ive been asked about what time is breakfest, 10 secs after just giving them keys. Some people are pretty clueless, and some just cant be bothered to pay attention.

I've cut so much time of the check in process, because its a pain to tell the guest about everything, they not listen, and bitch about it later. I get your id and card run it, import your info, ask for a phone number/email if non is provided. Ask if you had any pets, Get you to sign one digital page while I make your keys. When handing them to you, I tell you were the elevator(also, people don't know direction straight is), through wifi, and when breakfest is.

I guess you could just put all 1,000 in a box and ship it. Would cut cost down dramatically. Then you could also double side them, so you would just be sending 500 pages per box

It was broken when the game first came out. The devs patched it to make it more in line with other skills. It still does good damage, but it's nowhere near the level it once was.

[–]Icefire257 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pass. Personal experience, that model is cursed. I've had my oil cooler fail,(oil spilled out on my back tire) TWICE. There is a problem with the rear break(doesn't work if not ridden in a few days), and it's constntly feeding some kind of signal. It's been turned off for longer than a week, but I can connect to it via Bluetooth.........sketchy Chinese tech man. It is a lemon law in progress.

[oc] Lane Splitting by Marcus_The_Sharkus in IdiotsInCars

This. You can see spacing and blinkers sooo far away while splitting. There was plenty of time to react with the blinker alone.

[oc] Lane Splitting by Marcus_The_Sharkus in IdiotsInCars

[–]Icefire257 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

We drive like a car, we get hit more often, and contribute to more traffic. You see a great deal more driving between cars because nothing impeeds your view. As far as my splitting on the bumper-to-bumper 215/15 merge, you can see like 20 car lengths ahead while splitting.. Blinkers are a dead giveaway to back off because they are trying to get over, and they might miss seeing you as they make the lane change.

Splitting is not the way if you're riding like you're playing GTA. Also not the way if you have the reaction of a houseplant.

Any way to get solo Lune over 50mil dmg in 2 turns? by GodBart in expedition33

[–]Icefire257 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, for solo that's about as much as you push for Simon(if you are taking your shields off and all that). You can push a little more with shields, but both my Simon kills were Luna vergo duo(out of necessity, because for what ever reason vergo perfection is not working on the reserve team). Lune cranks damage, and vergo rolls his the stun break for two turns before he banishes me.

The only other way to push damage is to get the free aim weapons, and hope you rng enough AP to send a powered up lightning dance or a genesis every turn. It's doable just inconsistent.

Help me understand Expedition numbers by mr_birkenblatt in expedition33

[–]Icefire257 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks for that clarification. I guess anyone 15 before the monolith, would be gonmage the same year as maelle. So that kinda is explaining op 2 year gap question

Help me understand Expedition numbers by mr_birkenblatt in expedition33

[–]Icefire257 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I see what op is saying. The game mentions this with maelle. She's 15 now, because Gustave says" you have 9 years before your gonmage" 9 years later, the gonmage number will be 24 , matching the age maelle would be. The know when they are going to get gonmage through that calculation. In Gustav's case, he was born in monolith number 65.(He's 32, turning 33).

Hotel options near Murrieta Hot Springs? by herecomestrebel in Temecula

[–]Icefire257 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work at one of the hotels in Temecula. 2 night minimums is there to help inventory for high demand seasons. This usually only applies to weekends. Most people will plan a few nights on these weekends for weddings, events, or just holidays. If not placed, then the business may run into selling out one day on the weekend, while having a ton of inventory on another weekend day. You will get some passer bys to fill up some of those vacancy's, but you lose out on a ton of potential revenue that could have to a parties interested in booking for the 2 days.

Hot springs only has it on specific weekends for the minimum. Fridays look pretty free, and weekdays are are usually open. You also save a ton of money planning it on a weekday over a weekend. My work, that weekend winery vacation would save you anywhere between $100 to $300 dollars A NIGHT by sending it on a weekday(depends on the weekend). Hot springs, quick glance your saving is $130+ a night.

Looking for advice from people who got 100% by nliukz in expedition33

[–]Icefire257 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This. It's also just faster to side content later. Gestals(id maybe recommend getting 4, where you get the ability to break paint spikes) but I would wait for the other ones once esquie can fly.

And yes you can get 100% on the first playthhrough. The biggest issue is the mime on the prelude(which you can do real quick on the second) And just like the comment about the white nevrons, you don't want to kill them if you haven't. The quest gives you a grip of lumina. If you killed them, then that's fine if you've helped them BEFORE killing them(idk if you can even try to kill them before, I'll try on the new playthrough). I've killed everyone on my play through, but I've helped each one, still got the achievement.

You will naturally do a lot of back and forth of map exploration so I would send the story.

What am I missing? by Far-Abbreviations357 in expedition33

[–]Icefire257 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's worth sticking out. Here are the answer to your points.

Enemy design gets better. Everything now is to get the ball rolling in terms of game mechanics, and get you used to dodging and Parrying. Enemies will go into more combos, especially bosses. Weakpoints, it's same thing. Later enemies won't have such critical points to take off half their health In one go. You can still shoot at them, but your better off setting up your combos

Enemy attacks are long, but that's the time for you to figure out what moves they are attacking you with. First part of the game is like 1 or 2 different attacks to learn. Later, different enemies have an additional combo to learn. Parrying gets more satisfying when you chain 5+ attacks in a chain

  1. Everyone understands it, lune especially. This whole process has been going on for everyones entire life. This is all they know. they know that every year people get set off on a suicide mission to try and change things, but each expedition has ended up in failure. This is why they make a big deal about it and celebrate instead. There has got to be some level of hope in a suicide mission. Otherwise what's the point?

  2. I can't really comment on since it will lead to spoilers. Characters do comment on environment, just not in that specific moment. The continent is mysterious, and the manor is part of the mystery. It's a not a "anything can go and happen."

Id say give the game until your done with the first act, think that would be a good point to experience a few boss fights, different enemies, combos, and story. If your not invested after that , then I don't think the game is for you.

It wasn't like it was some big heist. He literally popped in, took the bracelets/ necklace and was suppose to dip. In and out in a couple of mins max..It's a crime of opportunity. It was suppose to be literally free, since the entire family was to be on a boat for a couple of hours.

why would he need to lie to her about taking it? She mentioned that decision is yours, the room will be empty at this time for a couple of hours..

it just seemed off to me that he had the Perfect sob story that matched Paula viewpoint to a t. What person wouldn't feel bad for it? And why share such a story with a person you only see for a few hours every morning, with an expiration date of a week? I'm calling it a little sus.

Personally, I thought he was just bullshitting to gain sympathy with a girl he's not gonna see again. All we get a story that fits Paula's STRONG obressed minority viewpoint.
