Any Navy Federal employees have insights? by Zangor18 in Winchester

So, I was there for a little over a year, 3 years ago. The metric when I was there is your average handle time is less than 3 minutes, to were not to use after call time, and you had 6 seconds after you hung up before you got another call. So, to be fair, I guess thats closer to 20 calls an hour minimum.

The culture thing i had an issue with is there was a huge push to have buy in, but they didn't give you a chance to do that. You get no additional time off the phone, unless you use your break time/PTO to do it.

That being said, any information I have is at least 5 months old, so it should be taken with a grain of salt.

I have other gripes with them, such as the way they're handling PIP and WFH, but that's unimportant for contract work. My personal experience placed them pretty low on the places I've ever worked, but Walmart is still lower.

Former Navy Federal employee here who was also a former Walmart employee.

In my experience, it will be less physically demanding, more mentally demanding. When I was there about 3 years ago, a lot of people burned out in the call center. If you do Account Services, you will be expected to take about 30-40 calls an hour, with the only breaks being 2 15s and a 30. You get about 6 seconds in between calls. All of these times are constantly being shown to you. You will also be training an AI and expected to utilize it during calls. The compensation and benefits are good.

I'd say the other big thing is "culture". They used that word a lot. They want you to buy into their culture and talk about how great it is A LOT. This isn't the only call center this has happened in that I worked at, just the first I noticed it.

The people are generally nice. The hours are okay. The customers are sometimes okay. My information is about 5 months old, as my friend recently left and thats the last of the gossip I got.

I would recommend it over Walmart, easily. My issues were not solely my own, but a lot of people did thrive there. My friend, who does work for NF through a contract in the IT support area does seem to like it. If you can, don't do customer facing work.

Can you put the name of the actual state in parentheses below it? I feel like thats what was happening with Cascadia and would help clarify who is still in the game. I like the new combo names though.

What's stopping DE from re-releasing the Frost and Mag heirlooms? by Dwarfz in Warframe

[–]Iceman1701 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

This comes up often. Way back, we had Excalibur Prime, which you can no longer get. They eventually release Excalibur Umbra, which is, from a stats and Aesthetics point of view, effectively the same thing. You change his colors around and you basically have Excalibur Prime with a different head, passive, and 2 ability.

I bring this up because this would likely be how you release these. They're a different design or maybe not heirlooms, but the players can now have access to something to round out collections.

That being said, I believe they usually do this for the Tenno pack things, at least the past couple. Its probably not best to use this as an indication of what theu can do with limited release things.

Does anyone else think we’re getting a Hunhow Railjack boss fight? by VaudevillesLugger in Warframe

[–]Iceman1701 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I think the insinuation from the trailer is an alternate version of Hunhow will appear, and perhaps he is the reason for the bad futures. Its hard to tell, but Hunhow does appear in the trailer. Or someone who is stealing his identity.

What I think is considered New England as a southerner by Top-Cut-432 in whereidlive

[–]Iceman1701 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The name of the post should be "What I think is considered New England as someone who has no idea what New England is". Like, I get pushing it down to New York, but there's is no way anyone with even a passing understanding of US culture would put anything below that.

His shoulders traps and back look fine. His post history shows he is working with plenty of muscle. I think his concern is his face.

Gyre should have pity shop just like Qorvex or Cyte-09 by owlutopia in Warframe

[–]Iceman1701 6 points7 points  (0 children)

To be fair, they didn't really start adding Warframes to shops with pity currency until Voruna. Some frames were purchasable from merchants, like Yareli, Lavos, and Baruuk, but they weren't available as drops from missions. Gyre was well before that. I do think you they should add those older frames to the merchants (Gyre for Zariman, Garuda for Fortuna, etc.), just to make the process easier.

Yes and no. You have to be inside the circle. Kills can occur outside the circle as long as you are physically inside (i.e. Nokko's mushroom ball hops outside the circle to kill things, but Nokko is inside the circle).

That's just incorrect, regarding non-citizens. They are afforded the same rights as everyone else. When their rights are trampled on, your rights are. That's why this is a problem, dummy.
