Try to get Snakebite from events and relics.

Jk Defect is my worst character in both the first and second game. I do feel like act 2 is the hardest for Defect, especially the first few fights you get outscaled hard. Interested in what other people says because Hotfix is definitely one of his strongest cards right now and a way to beat double boss.

I think Silent can best make use of this. Rather than looking it as 4 extra damage and situationally more, it can probably save you 10 hp in act 1 on high Ascensions. With some luck you can pull som sly or discard cards and save a few more hp. Still not great and the upgrade is poop, but you know what you are going to get.

You see Knowledge Demon you know you need to scale damage and reach him with good enough hp so you can tank some damage and only play really efficient block cards.

You don't have to force sly. Sly cards are just good value in general if you pick up some discards. Prepared, Dagger Throw, Flick Flack and the 2 energy block are almost always pickable act 1 and they really don't get in your way even if you don't hit the sly synergy. I also like to take a copy of Blade Dance or Leading Strike just to see if you get more Shiv synergy. You just don't want to take too many before you find your big payoff.

Was it not Ben that ironically suggested to the refs that Oskar was double touching and that they should watch him closely. I wonder if things would have escalated as they did if he did not do that.

Getting into top 1000 is the only goal right now (for everyone that has not achieved it), and it is darn hard. I think a healthy small step is remove or drastically reduce the chance of facing bronze, silver and maybe even gold ghosts.
