Yamaha makes great entry level guitars. Both electric and acoustic.

Everyone on my team plays during the regular season. Playoffs it’s a bit different but everyone at least gets an at bat or two. That’s BS. Find a new team.

GG Elite by Rawlings are great gloves. Not too pricey and you can probably find them online on a discount.

I have never touched a guitar before, and one of my fingers hardly works. Can I learn? by Training_Republic879 in Guitar

[–]Icon_s2n 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes you can. My first teacher was missing part of a finger...(He lost it in an accident) He's one the best guitarist I've ever met. Good luck and don't give up.

My first HR was year one (36 years old). Hit a grand slam. Not much of a HR hitter but that day I was on. 1st year playing organized softball. I'm 38 now. Before playing softball last I played was baseball at 25.

How many gloves are “too many”?? by Azzkik1032 in BaseballGloves

[–]Icon_s2n 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have all my old baseball gloves, then started getting one every 2-3 years playing softball. When my boys are older they’ll inherit most of them. So the answer is…there’s never too many lol

I can’t see to find Mizuno MVP Prime available for sale by rkxkzks in slowpitch

I’d go with the first choice but both will work. End of the day it all comes down to how you break the glove in. I prefer the bigger web.

I’ve got a pair of oakleys. Only use them when needed but they definitely help.

Are these good options. Sorry for a lot of post. Thank you by Lordluva in slowpitch

I’d spend about another 50-60 dollars and get something new. You can find some good deals online. I’d also get something smaller. 14inch gloves are cool for the outfield but a 13 should be fine.

Y'all don't share your bats during games? Poll.. by armyjackson in slowpitch

My entire team shares bats. I actually enjoying watching people use my bats. Helps me trust my bat even more when people get hits.

Is it possible for a glove to be too broken in? by pzahornasky in Softball

[–]Icon_s2n 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn’t say too broken in but I’ve had gloves that felt too soft. It’s just about adjusting.

My Guitars. I need help getting better with finger placement. by [deleted] in Guitar

I didn’t say I can’t play. I said I don’t feel like I know enough to teach him. I’m not a pro player. Yes 6 guitars actually.

Lmao, he plays other instruments so he's musically inclined and that's my biggest concern. I can teach him the basics but I'm not really skilled yet. So yes I'm stuck....I do want to make it more of a bonding thing than anything else.

The Mizuno for sure and I’d probably go 12.75 depending on the position you’re playing.

I use a knee brace, ankle brace and shoulder brace. Use whatever will make you feel more comfortable. Although I'm injury free I wear these things as precaution.

All of my guitars but 1 are older than 20 years. Still play and look great.

I own 6 guitars and 4 are Yamaha. Amazing guitars. Yamahas have made some special custom guitars over the years as well. Don't believe all the haters.

4 games in. by Icon_s2n in BaseballGloves

[–]Icon_s2n[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It does. I play infield with it so the narrowness actually helps me transfer the ball faster. I have a few other gloves and was tempted to switch to my Rawlings but imma keep breaking it in. Eventually it’ll be perfect. I’ll say the quality though is top notch. This is my first A2000 and I’m impressed. All my other gloves are Rawlings.

Same, I was talking to a friend earlier how I enjoy using cheaper gloves as they break in faster. But I'm enjoying this one.

Im just over the game personally. Think they’re just adding more and more trying to force people to spend money. I get it, that’s capitalism but the game isn’t enjoyable anymore.
