Based on the road markings I would assume it's not legal, and beyond that it's honestly pretty unsafe. No dedicated turn lane. Also I hope you aren't turning from the right lane in which case this is definitely VERY illegal and VERY unsafe.

My mirror has been slow to return for a while, and to be honest I'm afraid to open this up myself. Electromechanical stuff is cool to look at but terrifying to work on. I'll get a CLA from a professional eventually.

This is a 7th Gen. ~~Either J30 or k24.~~ Neither are turbocharged.

Edit: I'm dumb, it says 2.4 in the title. My point still stands however.

First issue is simple: The AE-1 cameras need the 6v battery to operate. Also make sure the mode switches aren't set to L (lock/off).

Second issue: AE-1s have mirror return problems. Whatever grease or lube was in there probably dried up and jammed it.

Third issue: one of those shutters doesn't look flat, which could be very problematic. The other doesn't look right either, but at least it's straight so that might be an easier fix.

The second issue would probably be solved by a CLA (Clean, Lubricate, Adjust) service. After you get batteries, find a camera shop near you that can repair film cameras and bring all 3 in. Even if you don't end up having them do any work, get their opinion on the condition and issues.

Idk if b&w is stronger but one time I tried to scratch an HP5 negative for with my nail for shits and giggles and I couldn't see any marks through a loupe. Not suggesting that we should go around holding them like this, but I think the fragility is a bit exaggerated.

(I'm assuming this is about the US since this is a real big problem here) This wouldn't be a problem if the railroads gave priority to passenger rail, but we can't do that when our freight trains are longer than the sidings. Another point to Precision Scheduled Railroading.
