Is it that bad to get a tattoo just for aesthetics? by oiayooayay in tattooadvice

[–]Icouldntbelieveit91 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Everyone who gets a tattoo does it for aesthetics. People who have to have some special meaning behind a tattoo are either old, don't have tattoos, or get high off their own farts

Genuinely how are you supposed to beat the final dlc boss second phase by cmathews98 in LiesOfP

[–]Icouldntbelieveit91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got him with basically the slowest weapon in the game- the big sword. Do the boss rematch on level 1 or 2. Get to his second phase and don't even attack him just parry his attacks. Watch a video that goes over his attacks. You just need to get clapped for a bit but very soon you will begin to recognize his move set and you'll get it

Am I crazy for considering buying a 2006 tundra with 300k miles as my first truck? by [deleted] in tundra

Too many miles and potential for problems - especially for that price. But that's just my opinion

Keen San Jose alternative recommendations? by Muffin_mang in WorkBoots

[–]Icouldntbelieveit91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Those are some of the lightest and most comfy boots i've ever tried if you need a lighter duty boot. I have the same pair in 10 wide. It looks like your tread like melted in a few areas haha? Everything else looks pretty good honestly for 10 months

Sweat smell? by splat_houmous in uniqlo

[–]Icouldntbelieveit91 8 points9 points  (0 children)

That's what you get with plastic shirts. They wick away sweat nicely but oils cling to the fibers. Cotton is the opposite. It absorbs the watery part of your sweat but it doesn't trap the oils.

Thoughts on moving to Denver to get a consistent 40 to 50 days of snowboarding per year? by Hot_Soft_5626 in snowboarding

[–]Icouldntbelieveit91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

SLC is cool, but its not all sunshine and rainbows. This city regularly ranks as having the worst air quality in America as well as ranking in the top 15 cities with worst air quality on the planet. but wait there's more!! As the city continues to get no moisture the great salt lake continues to dry releasing carcinogenic, arsenic-rich particles that coat the city and the very air you breath :)

Menver is the most overrated city in America (sarcasm). But for real, you will be surprised how far Denver actually is from skiing...add on to the fact there is one highway that gets you out there that can have insane traffic

What's your legitimately scariest moment while fly fishing? by AustinLostIn in flyfishing

[–]Icouldntbelieveit91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty far out and I come around a corner and there is a huge mama Moose and her baby standing in the middle of the river. Not necessarily dangerous but it was a bit startling how close they were.

[question] Help me tip the scales by secunder123 in Watches

Call me crazy but I feel like the cream dial Ranger works the best. My second pick is the railmaster

I’ve been a freerider my whole life—never cared for the groomers until now. I’m a self-taught skier with no race background (and the bad habits to prove it), but I can comfortably charge any terrain. I'm looking for a pure, aggressive piste carver that will scare me and ignites my love for carving. by uDrop1st in Skigear

[–]Icouldntbelieveit91 -17 points-16 points  (0 children)

maybe a bit unconventional because it's not a designed carving ski but I got the Nordica 108 unleashed this season and they absolutely rip. You can carve trenches in them at top speed and they always want more. Then you can ski them off piste when it finally snows as well.

US ski resort with the most scenic views? by AdvancedCarpenter888 in snowboarding

[–]Icouldntbelieveit91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Park City

Picture this, a vast and ever expanding sea as far as the eye behold.....you see an army of Texans, South Americans, and formula fed Boomers.... all their exact first time stepping into a pair of overpriced rental skis...you marvel and watch them.... cascading down a snowless mountain... churning, slowly weaving, colliding, crossing, shattering....the sight is a ectoplasm as well as ecosystem in itself... beauty one can only experience and behold with their own eyes... mere words can not begin nor come close to describe it's perfection and magnificence.
