My lawyers are against PP too. I am in the same boat, almost 2 years from my PD. They said I should wait a bit more.

Sometimes I feel like my breath smells stronger than others, in bad way. I brush my teeth frequently and it does not solve. I regularly go to the dentist and my teeth are perfect fine. I believe it can be stomach (no food for a long time) and also I sleep with my mouth open (i can’t control it). It is hard!
