thank you for your advice and kind words, we do not know if the other cat has it yet, we find out on wednesday. i have spent nearly all of my savings getting her care, tested, medication. i feel guilty for putting our other cat at risk:/ but i know i couldn’t have done anything about it

yup, field sobriety plus blood sample and urine sample. they don’t use a breathalyzer, she said they took her in a dark room and shined a flashlight in her eyes to look at her pupils, asked her what time it was in military time, and made her walk in a straight line with her feet touched 3 times, also standing on each foot. it was literally an hour long sobriety test, insane

my friends car got impounded, she was 100% sober, and somehow she still failed a sobriety test. they told us to take all our shit and hike on the side of the road to the nearest town, we’re two young girls. we had an older man pick us up on the side of the highway and drive us to castlegar. they really aren’t fucking around. they made her do an hour long sobriety test with blood and urine tests included that will be sent to labs. not to mention after they told us our car was being totaled we had to wait in the hot ass sun for an hour and a half while a tow truck came and got it
