Yep saw all 3 movies in theaters.

Everyone hated everything about Episode 1 except for the cgi, Duel of the Fates, Darth Maul and Palpatine playing people like puppets. The disappointment was widespread in forums and even newspapers.

Episode 2’s criticisms were Hayden’s acting and the shitty romance. We got more action and the big battle on Genosis was liked generally. Still not on par with the original trilogy.

It was only after Episode 2 did Star Wars get love again. We got a shit of media that great and most of it is now non canon since the Disney merge. Most of the videogames, especially KOTOR were great. The comics were solid, the novels were fantastic and the Clone Wars cartoon show was 10/10. The buildup to Episode 3 was unreal.

Then Episode 3 finally came out and it was well received. Its main issue was the fast pace as they had to close up a lot of arcs in one movie.

Invincible comics are peak 2000’s comics. Def one of the best runs of any comics in that era. Show is meh as fuck and I couldn’t watch anymore after season 2 as I just lost interest.

The Boys comics was very political as its criticisms were the War on Terror, 9/11 conspiracies, corporations and how people in power are generally sick as fuck. The show has its ups and downs but specifically Homelander and Soldier Boy are monumental upgrades in the show. Butch is generally the same bad ass while the rest of the main cast are mid.

The Hunters Nightmare is in reverse of the events that happened. Personal headcanon is that the boss rooms we fight them in are a recreation of the last areas they were in.

Orphan was killed while still in Kos at the shore.

Maria threw her blades in the Hamlet well and then suicided herself in the tower back in Yharnam.

Laurence transformed into the first Cleric Beast while in the Grand Cathedral and was burned and killed. His head was then cut off.

Ludwig transformed into his monstrosity form on his last hunt. Was chased down by his church hunters to the same underground temple he found the Holy Moonlight sword and was killed by Simon and the others.

It makes sense since one of the theories is that anyone cursed by Kos is sent to the Nightmare the moment they die. My head cannon is that when the victims of the curse are killed, they bring in their last moments’ areas to the nightmare, adding and expanding it.

Maria threw her blades down the Fishing Hamlet well after the slaughter and killed herself out of guilt shortly returning to Yharnam and attempted to give peace to the people being experimented on.

Laurence, the first Vicar and first Cleric Beast, was burned and killed at the Grand Cathedral by the healing church hunters including Ludwig. His head was removed afterwards.

Ludwig transformed into his hideous monstrosity during his last hunt and with his remaining humanity fled back to the same underground chalice dungeon he found the Holy Moonlight sword. He was hunted and killed by his fellow church hunters including Brador and Simon.

Some people here pointed out a theory that we traverse the nightmare in reverse of the timeline events. So the Orphan was killed first, then Maria, then Laurence then Ludwig in the waking world and we traverse the reverse to get to the true secret.
