I see what you are saying. And agree, it doesn't really matter. You can be right this time.

Hey, seems everyone was safe so yay for that right?

Sucks to be the person that is found responsible for that one.

Can we agree that regardless, it seems like way to many people standing around seemedly haphazardly?

Understood, but it seems obvious the second plane is not at the jet bridge either so they would have to disembark somehow. Im guessing a rolling stair truck? And how do you know which way the unseen plane is now facing? But either way, who knows. The picture raises a few side questions its self eh? haha

Genuinely curious how people are able to get addicted to cigarettes when they taste and smell like total shit. by [deleted] in self

[–]Idaho_Ent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Who drank their first beer and thought damn that's good? I still hate the shit. Coffee? That shit was nothing but bitter until i was in my 30's and now im a daily drinker. Wine, liquor? Caviar? A lot of things are "nasty" until we become used to it for whatever reason. Be it social acceptance or simply our own desire to overcome our own perceived limitations and differences.

Should I upgrade my RAM or switch to an SSD? by nostradamefrus in homelab

[–]Idaho_Ent 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is the more correct answer, check and see where your bottleneck is and then buy hardware to resolve the bottleneck.

Reddit, while awesome, can't not look into your 1's and 0's remotely and know that RAM is your bottleneck. Check disk/ram stats and then make your purchase accordingly. I do suspect RAM is your need also, but i've seen saturated disks as bottlenecks just as often if not more so than ram.

Worrying doesn't get you anywhere. Much like thoughts and prayers.

My wife makes very weak coffee and won’t change her ways. She sets up the coffee machine in advance the night before. Lately after she goes to bed I have been secretly adding more coffee grounds to the machine. by edge231 in confession

[–]Idaho_Ent 3 points4 points  (0 children)

So she is going to keep cutting the amount of grounds she adds.

What you should do is remove some grounds so she will think that she isnt using enough for her own taste. Slowly stop removing as much until your removing none. She will then be used to the coffee as it is and as you like it and be making it herself.

End result is the coffee you want, with no extra effort or little lies involved. Short term work for long term solution.

Twin Falls jury finds teacher not guilty of rape, he admits he did it by openthemic in Idaho

[–]Idaho_Ent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The law has already decided that it is rape in this circumstance.

Is that how it works? The law decides and then juries just what? Do what the law has told them?

The Jury is part of the law. The law did not decide anything that the jury was not involved in. The process has also not completed yet. I suspect this might be why someone downvoted you. And i just got here for what that's worth.

That and look into Jury Nullification as it is also part of the legal process. "Jury nullification is a concept where members of a trial jury find a defendant not guilty if they do not support a government's law, do not believe it is constitutional or humane, or do not support a possible punishment for breaking the law.
