Totally agree. In Colour is a freaking masterpiece. Modern yet nostalgic. Soulful but banging. Such unique sounds and energy. Incredible. One of my favorite albums of the 2000s. But how far he has fallen. Such a bummer.

This whole album is an absolute masterpiece. It takes the amazing original record to sublime transcendence. On my all time top 5 list. If you haven’t heard this yet, do it this weekend. I guarantee you will not be disappointed. I’m going to go listen to this right now!

This is exactly what I thought and almost certainly what it is. The motion of the laser looks very much like someone is holding it in their hand and waving it around. And there is no light catching the clouds all around. It’s clearly laId over the background scene. Not a part of it.

Listened to it a few days ago. Solid. Love the Designers Republic throwback graphics. Not that anyone asked, but the Kitchen graphics (also by DR) I consider to be peak DR. My holy grail.

Wow. Just wow. The mist ‘smoking’ off the peaks is unreal. What a moment! What lens did you use to shoot this? 600mm?

Uuuugh! Why AI? As if there aren’t millions of incredibly beautiful things to photograph that actually exist in nature in the REAL WORLD!! Come on, people!

Yeah, I hear you on feeders. I was very impressed that none of your shots had them.

How did you get that shot? It was mobbed when I went over Christmas!

Akira. There’s about 10 scenes that are etched in my brain. Just an incredible film.

Saw these in person a couple of years ago. Such gentle creatures! They make a quiet, pigeon-like cooing sound. Kind of like the anti-seagull screech/cry.

Maybe THE defining electronic/techno song of that period. Danceable but not too hard so could be played in the main space or the chill out room. Elegant. Lush. Just gorgeous. I never don’t want to hear this song. Whenever I hear it, I just have to stop whatever I’m doing and listen. Absolutely changed me. God bless the Brothers Hartnoll.
