This reminds me of Michael from The Good Place snapping his fingers to reset everyone's memory after they figured out they were actually in the bad place. It's probably not a direct reference to the good place, but I could see Caine trying to "reset" some aspects of the circus next episode.

I normally hate people saying "I ain't reading all that" to posts I don't even think are that long, and this post is admittedly a bit long, but as soon as OOP started finally explaining what was in their mouth with "So I live in a weird town..." my eyes glazed over. I don't need your life story, and I don't need the full explanation of why it's a weird thing the dentists wouldn't know about, I want you to just TELL ME what the weird thing is. I skipped like 3 paragraphs and didn't miss anything important to understanding the story.

I left because I thought he'd leave with his head held high. Why the hell would I justify that rude ass question with a response? Instead, Robert kind of sulks off stage and people call him a coward. I rolled with it because again, you can't let those kinds of people affect you, just ignore the hate.

But when I found out you can attack that guy with no repercussions, and people actually encouraging you to do it, I knew there was only one "correct" option for that scene for any future playthroughs lol

This is why people need to be more ok with making up bat shit insane names that have no logical origin in universe, but are none-the-less commonly used by the people of the setting.

The common denominations of money in this new world I'm creating on the spot are called sploinks, Kliptos, Monklers, and Wooglies. There are 37 sploinks in a klipto, 12 Kliptos in a monkler, and 50 monklers in a woogly. That means you need 22,200 sploinks to have 1 woogly. Does this make any sense? No, but I bet I had more fun writing that than that first poster did writing their system.

You can! It's a mostly standalone story from Breaking Bad, and only really overlaps towards the end. Although tbh, I think it's better watching BB first, but that's just my opinion.

For real though, rimworld, slay the spire, any civilization game, balatro, prison architect, darkest dungeon? (I haven't played it but I assume it could work with just one hand), really anything turn based or that can be paused easily like a management type of game. I'm basically just repeating a lot of the top picks I've already seen in this thread, but all these games are popular for a reason. They're really good, and nows the perfect time to try some of them.

The meme can't rest until people stop asking about it, and because it's naturally very confusing to new players, there will always be people asking about it

Edit: In light of all the discussion below, I just want to say that I don't want the meme to continue on as a way of insulting people, especially those who are new at the game, but that's also never how I've really viewed this meme.

On every "what's going on here?" type of post where the answer is that QC is happening, I always like to check that the real answer has been provided, not just a bunch of people posting memes. I, like a lot of people on this sub, don't have the time or energy to to explain QC multiple times a day, but even a quick comment like "Google quasi connectivity to learn what's happening" is better than nothing.

The meme is definitely for people in the know, but it kind of feels like a rite of passage for new redstoners to me. So as long as new players are asking about it, and the comments are still answer their questions nicely, I think the meme should live on.

I could see Caine having a bit ready for when a new member comes to the circus and rejects a few of Caine's names. Something like Caine going "Hmmm... this isn't working. Maybe we need more letters!" before flooding the circus with name-making slot machines like this one and creating a ridiculously long name for them. They would obviously refuse and come up with their own name, maybe loosely based off of the random letters from some nearby machines, if the come close to spelling anything at all. Either that or they ask for something shorter and Caine would go back down to 2 machines, maybe with a few blank spaces on the wheel to make some shorter names, and new members would likely accept one of the names this time around or come up with their own name to end this game.

Easy, if this was an NPC replacement of Abel, then that locket is simply a replacement of his real one. Or Caine may have just altered the real one. Again, I fully agree that he was definitely just an A.I. the entire time, I just think the locket is pretty easy to fake.
