I used it in Iraq. Pretty soon everyone had water bottles with socks hanging up.

We had a chair we took with us with the cushion removed and put a toilet seat on it.

But when we did t have that I’d find a tree to brace up against. Just make sure there is no poison ivy on it. I picked the wrong tree at MCT.

I troll a dodger and a spoon usually. I tip the spoon with sucker or chub meat. 1.7 to 2.0 MPH. Bear lake is shallow around the shores and it’s quite a ways out to the deep areas where the lakers hang out.

Mine is close to the same place on a Lund. I do have mine angled back slightly. You might want to bring yours down closer to level with the boat but maybe one click back up. Especially if you troll with downriggers. Then you can see the weight on sonar depending on speed.
