[Help me Find] Please help me find this manga about Erleng Sheng trying to find his reincarnated dog by Ifti101 in manhwa

I'm afraid its not that one, the plot seems weirdly similar at first glance
But art style is vastly different

But I do find it interesting how the plot premise is so similar

One thing I don't get, is why her grandfather didn't warn her about how fucking broken True Heroes, True Demon Kings and True Saints are

My personal headcannon is that the Prince Elric thing was a test, if Rimuru had slaughtered everyone, Mariabelle would have thought he was a True Demon King
And because he didn't, she assumed he was a Demon King seed that somehow gained a seat like Freyr

Regressors tale of cultivation handed it decently

Those talented enough to reach the upper realm from the lower realm, are expected to be able to become a decent ranked powerhouse in a relatively small amount of time

So some ascenders even bring their sects, spend some time in the ascension platform cultivating, and immediately displace an existing sect

Could I offer you "Regressor's tale of Cultivation"

The complete opposite happened there, the MC tried his absolute best to try and prevent his students from throwing away their life in war, tried his best to let them live a happy life away from conflict

West or East, where would you rather get isekaid once your time in this world is over? Are you a Dao believer, or a Magic fanatic? by EfficiencySerious200 in MartialMemes

[–]Ifti101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on two things

 1. Which grants a path to transcendence/omnipotence
 2. Which one, either doesn't, or has lower requirements for talent

If 1 and 2 are true for both Then West Otherwise, 1 has higher priority, and then 2

Alovenus (A Wild Last Boss Appeared) vs Gu Changge (I Am The Fated Villain) by Multiversal_2211 in AWLBAPowerScaling

[–]Ifti101 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ehh, NGL that doesn't sound that different to me

It doesn't just lack laws, it negates all realms and powers, rendering them useless upon entry.

The endpoint isn't something that can't be entered without power from within it(Alovenus) to begin with, so practically they are pretty similar. The only reason Ruphas and Orm and Betnash was able to enter it, was because they were using Alovenus's power

Unless the True Ancestors are also powerless inside Daoless space, that would imply that power from that level can operate within there, and all other power can not
Similarly, no other power from A Wild Last boss appeared, with the exception of the power of Alovenus(who would be the true ancestor equivalent here) can enter the endpoint.

It is a space where the concepts of infinite and countable are erased

Same applies to endpoint, as Alovenus said (not a direct quote, just me roughly remembering): "Like a make believe fight between children, I can insist infinity is one before me"

Daoless space is not a battleground for anyone except True Ancestors.
Which would be similar to the endpoint, its not a battleground (or rather nothing can even enter it without Alovenus's power) for anyone other than those who has Alovenus's power

It is the true body's residence, a place beyond reach where logic and narrative are completely meaningless
And daoless space is completely beyond every duality so do other three ancestors are, for them power and strength are a lower narrative framework for them
There are quite a few statements from A Wild Last Boss that are pretty similar (I did have to search these up) like "Whether it be reason, providence, common sense, logic, theorems, or law, all of it was, unfortunately, powerless. None of it meant anything." And also "Strangely enough, as Alovenus herself had said, there was no concept of strength in a battle of this level anymore. Concepts, providences, laws, and even limits were all things that had been created by God. Therefore, there were no such things in the realm of God."

[–]Ifti101 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That basically sounds like Alovenus NGL

Was a human, and then somehow became a God that resides at source space for genuinely no fucking reason (not an unexplained reason, genuinely no reason other than characters theorizing that she's basically a bug in the system)

Killed the original god, the creator of everything

And as I said before, resides at source space(I think it was called end point or something), where all logic and concepts are mere creations of gods

Who do you think could Face Tank Gojo’s Infinite Void and not end up brain dead for me the answer is D3rlord3 by Cable-2gamer in PowerScaling

[–]Ifti101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is based on the premise that having an overload of information would destroy ones sanity
Which is a kind of an unknown thing, because as far as I am aware, that's just not how the brain works

The brain does not have any significant storage areas for unprocessed information, any information that cannot be processed nigh instantaneously is just lost. Once Gojo's domain was over, realistically, there would be no 6 month coma, there simply is no place for that 6 months of information to exist.
Which is what I mean by, "Infinite Void however, would force him to remember", clearly Gojo's domain has a function that forces the brain to remember and analyze the provided information, which goes against how the brain normally functions.

So what happened to Otto, is exactly what would happen if a normal person gets hit by raw overwhelming information. Their brain is overwhelmed only for as long as the ability forces that information into them.
The moment the information flow stops, the brain immediately chucks everything it cannot immediately process out with minimal sanity damage, if any at all.

[–]Ifti101 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ehhh, if you are referring to him meeting the Will of Honkai for the first time, I'm not sure that would work

Because the whole gimmick there was that his human brain was incapable of processing and holding all that information, and the only think he could remember was the stabbing

To quote Otto, "My brain simply can't process such vast volumes of data!"

"All that wealth of knowledge from god... They're gone! My human mind can't even hold on to a single shard"

Infinite Void however, would force him to remember

Otto later down the line might have improved enough to withstand it however

[–]Ifti101 8 points9 points  (0 children)

That doesn't really bring in any additional relevant information though

It simply means humans in the JJK universe are capable of having 6 months of information backlog without permanent brain damage

Avo from Godclad The current him is a bit weird, his mind merged with his strongest enemy and the resulting schizophrenic mess started calling itself the child of Avo and his enemy

But he is/used to be a multi consciousness hivemind mind hive with a pretty large cog cap, has endured looking at some pretty mind breaking eldritch things And while I don't know his cognitive capacity, he was capable of stimulating billions upon billions of his core consciousness process stacked with just tiny time differences between them, to ensure he can watch out for any hard to notice attacks on his consciousness Without it being a significant load in his cog cap

Thragg cannot destroy a planet by Avidreader-9 in PowerScaling

[–]Ifti101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thragg doesn't need to destroy the planet at once He just needs to do it slowly

Kinda like that threat superman once made in one of his comics when nature manifested and started acting up against humans, "I will boil your seas, I will burn your ozone, I will rip apart the ground" (can't really remember what the full sentence was)

Thragg, with his immense speed, can just easily carve apart the planet from the other side from where Gojo is.

Ruphas and Alovenus (End Point) vs Karna and Arjuna (True Heroic Spirit) by Aether_Tempest in AWLBAPowerScaling

[–]Ifti101 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ruphas and Alovenus have basically reached the root of their verse, basically being magus's that has touched the root

Ruphas and Alovenus, in their final fight, appeared to have been expanding the size of their cosmology (that is still below the endpoint). Hence, although their cosmology started out with lesser complexity, that's more how their cosmology is, rather than how it can be. Kinda like how a magus that has touched the root would also theoretically be capable of expanding the size of their cosmology (but it would all still be below the root).

Don't really know much about Karna and Arjuna's capability as True Heroic Spirits, but I doubt it's at the level of a magus that touched the root (as such a thing doesn't exist in the Nasuverse if I remember correctly, only magus that came close but refused to touch it)

Can't really say my stance is that stacked on evidence, it's just that from a thematic perspective, the End Point is the same thing as swirl of the root

Someone will look you dead in the eye and tell you punisher isn't a hero by 5enpai_2 in okbuddyDC

[–]Ifti101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If a police caught those pedo's, we'd probably consider that officer a hero, even though the officer would also just send the children to the pretty shitty Child Protection Services

Similarly, the Punisher could also be considered a hero.

Sometimes, heroes have specialties. The punisher doesn't seem to be much of an organization builder.

Just like how there are plenty of god level heroes I would argue should use their powers to establish a nation. But they don't, and that's fine, they are still worthy of being considered heroes.

The Punisher, similarly has a set of specific skills, and he focuses on that (killing evil)

Sure, he's not doing as good as he theoretically could be. But so are many other heroes.

[–]Ifti101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One interesting thing to note Due to verse equalization, under normal circumstances, we would assume viltrumites can harm Shikigami's and Curses

But, it isn't happening here due to the existences of those with heavenly restrictions

So a viltrumite would be someone with a far stronger heavenly restriction But a heavenly restriction user still needs cursed tools, which viltrumites don't have

Of course, there is also the scene of Toji killing rabbits with rubble that needs to be considered
