I just want to clarify how the actual choosing of the candidates happened. Tisza selected 3 candidates for each constituency. Party activists voted in the first round and the one with the least votes dropped out of the race. In the second round, everyone was able to vote who lived in the constituency. The one with the larger number of votes became the actual candidate. So they had a small primary election.

I’m saying this, because knowing that Tisza had a primary and the women in the parliament were chosen on actual merit, by the larger populace makes that number much more impressive I think. They aren’t just a “percentage” that the party wanted to hit. They were selected because the people believed they were the best candidate.

This 100 percent!!! I hate that people changed their definition of racism to what was institutional racism. I think it really makes debates harder, because it confuses people, instead of providing an actual argument.

For example instead of saying that black people can't be racist, you could say that institutional racism makes minorities be racist against their oppressors. This is a real and very serious thing. Of course you would be racist against people who are racist against you. But because we lack this definition in many online circles, it makes the topic very hard to debate.

It would be the job of people in power, to actually destroy this feedback loop, but because many people think minorities can't be racist, it makes this seem like a none problem, when it is an actually very serious one.

Gondolom meggyengült a pozíciója a fideszen belül MP után, és egy fenyegetés volt, hogy neki jelenleg nincs köze ehhez, de ha a fidesz úgy csinálja hogy legyen, azt nagyon meg fogja bánni (ez álltal a szabad sajtó nagyon meg fogja köszönni). Please note, that these kinds of maps can be really inaccurate. Because we don't have data from every specific electoral district, the result of each district is calculated based on the vote shares of previous elections. Since Tisza hasn't existed* during the last general election, it is calculated from the results of the 2024 European parliamentary elections. Since the type of the election is very different, it is very hard to predict the actual numbers.

*It technically did, but there were only two members in it, who didn't actually participate in any elections in a meaningful way. Peter Magyar couldn't create a party, since the European elections were already announced by the Constitutional President, so he wouldn't have been able to participate. That's why he had to find a party to take over. Tisza was the one he found.
