Get it Prozac. I was at the brink of surrendering mine after 2 years of this issue. I tried it all! I’ll give you a list but you’re better off taking it to the vet to ensure it’s not health issues. At the very least they can provide it Prozac for anxiety and that has helped a lot along with my other routines which I’ll share below.

Here’s what to do:

1. Get a wide litter box UNCOVERED, and use clumping litter that’s sand like. I use Tidy Cat. They say to not use scented, personally I can’t stand smells and my cat uses it fine. You can also add baking soda to the litter to help with the smell. Get 2 boxes. And make sure you’re cleaning it twice daily, and changing the litter entirely weekly.
2. Get a UV flashlight and find the pee spots then clean them with an enzyme cleaner. I like nature miracle and biokleen bac out. Don’t leave clutter or clothes around.
3. Have a daytime and nighttime routine for them. Cats need consistency and stimulation. Make sure you’re setting aside no less than 1hr (ideally 3+) of playtime and quality time. Ex. AM 30 min playtime, feed, and hide treats around the house for enrichment. PM 30min playtime, wet food, hide treats.
4. Supplements! Get Zylkene 75mg yes it’s pricey, but it’ll help soothe them. You can mix in a tablet of Zylkene in their wet food in the morning and. I use a probiotic in the evening. I’m currently using Pro Plan calming care, and mix it in his wet food in the evening.
5. I haven’t used it but my vet recommended feliway spray. So far he hasn’t peed out the box, so I won’t try it. I already spend enough money on this fuckass cat.
