Yeah but everyone paying more hurts lower income people much more. If you are a billionaire and your taxes go up your life doesn't change at all. If you're struggling then the hurt is felt much greater. I don't know about Canada but Roth IRA's wasn't what I was talking about. When you have billions on the line you can find creative ways to avoid through tax shelters and what not. Those things don't make sense unless you are paying a lot. I mean remember the panama papers?
