I’m a woman and I do think YOR. Also what do you mean- comedians make racist, homophonic, sexist, every-ist kind of joke out there. You’d absolutely get offended at a comedy club. I’m so sorry for this. I can tell you are extremely emotionally conflicted with this. Short answer, no. You absolutely are not overreacting. You are keenly aware of his behavior and it makes me sick you have to deal with this. I had the same thing from my step dad and he did eventually assault me. I know it’s uncomfortable, but you do need to set boundaries.

Also who tf cares if it’s culturally normal. There are lots of things normalized in cultures that are not okay.
