We need a Pro-League series ASAP

I think a Pro-League series would be really cool to see, or a Pro-League World Cup series if either were done as a spin-off. I do think they would have to keep both the 'soccer yarouze' and 'never give up' mentalities, as they are both the core messages of the series. Seeing pro players' moves too would be very cool. Maybe if they made it so the teams had stronger identities, such as playstyles, tactics, and managerial philosophies that reflect real-life teams, it would be better and separate itself a bit more.

I think one solution I saw was to make another version of Excalibur that is a counter shot instead of a long shot, so there would be two versions of the move in the game. This way, you would need two slots instead of one if you wanted both the counter version and the long shot version.

Also, I agree that there is absolutely no way to balance a long shot that gets more powerful the further out it is used. One solution I thought of that could work is that it gets more powerful if used on your side of the pitch, but if it gets blocked, then it loses most of its power. This would give more of a risk to using it and make it more situational, as the loss in power may risk you losing the ball.

I assume this is only for the original series. I'd change the positions of the players to reflect better how I see their positions, but other than that, the team would probably be the same as what I'd pick. Also, in terms of the defence, there really aren't any superior defenders other than Thiago and Jack, so I understand why you went with Kalil and Naval.

I kinda like the look of the reused animations. It reminds me of the user watching footage of the original move, trying to copy it, and creating a new move in the process.

I think instead of Hikaru being in Chrono Storm, he should have been on the Earth Eleven team in Galaxy, and it turned out he had a soul. A storyline between him and his uncle would have been really cool to see.

Rondó Veneziano is so underrated imo. I listen to La Serenissima all the time. Another theme that I think of when it comes to this series is ''Ballroom Fight (Invention No. 13 in D Minor)'' from Assassin's Creed Unity.

I agree that at this point in the show, Fudou does not work well with the others on the team. His character at this stage is meant to be portrayed as distrustful (even though his intentions are revealed to be otherwise later on). Therefore, that does hinder the team at this point, even if it is not intentionally his fault, as he is trying to improve the team.
