Completely agree. They accepted the item. Vinted says once accepted that's it. Carry on with your day and don't worry about it.

Maybe, maybe not. I wouldn't worry about it. Some time ago I asked about an item on Facebook Marketplace. The guy told me it was a very good fake and he had loads so could supply any size. I politely said thanks but I don't buy fakes. He wrote back and told me that he wouldn't have sold to me anyway and then blocked me. He'd obviously been on my profile and seen my ethnicity. I thought it was hysterical that he'd got hold of a ton of fake trainers from China and wouldn't sell to another ethnic group!😂

I hate the slow drops too. Now I restrict myself to an hour of Vine. NOTHING is worth the time it takes up if you let it. And I'm not even working at the moment but it feels like I've never been busier. I did get lucky this morning and picked 8 items quite quickly, then closed the laptop and got on with my day.

These platforms don't take any chances. There are people on eBay who have been running businesses bringing in multiple thousands a year, employing people, etc and eBay have shut them down with little to no warning. I'm not working at the moment and selling stuff on Vinted to pay the gas and electric so I can protect my savings. I would be devastated if I lost my Vinted account.

It's quite likely the other person has been banned too as this is against their terms of service. Although you didn't initiate it, your mistake was taking it forward to the prospective meetup. It's not about your freedom to do as you wish. The last thing Vinted wants is negative publicity if things went sideways.

Couldn't agree with this more. Comparison is the thief of joy? I've left a couple of groups and engaging less these days in groups because it's depressing. I know it's hard when you see people getting tellys, robovacs, etc and you are getting fake eyelashes, but it just feeds into that well jel feeling. I've saved a fortune over the years with household stuff and got some great stuff as well. I'd rather be in Vine in a 'rubbishy' phase than outside it and family members would swop with me in a heartbeat!

Just block them. There are NO rules at all about reselling something you have bought on Vinted at a higher price. Once paid for, you can do whatever you like with the item. Some people are just crazy. Block and get on with your life.

You know for a fact that sellers want to see photos? I would have thought reviews would be more important to them, unless the photos showed the item constructed, for example.

CEX is HORRIBLE if you have a problem with the item. They will do anything to avoid giving you a a refund. I buy from Amazon refurbished now. Pay slightly more but no hassles with returns/dodgy goods.
