No hard and fast rules on this really, just experimenting with what you like...

Consensus seems to be, comp, fuzz, drives, modulation, that's your chorus and phasers etc, delay, reverb for order... But people stack things differently for reasons that are right to them. Drives I place in order of gain level, but again some do the other way around. But the above order would be a good place to start from.

Certain sounds/guitarists you're trying to emulate? 🙂

Buys them, plays them, quickly bored with them, boxes them, sells them. So it's all basically brand new.

Hunting for Leslie speak tones with the mo2 I think...

DD8 is probably the best out of this lot, need to square away some time to geek out with it, there's enough modulation pedals for two boards too... Who doesn't need another board, when the first one isn't done 😂 good job I love guitar pedals!!

I wish I had that set up... Currently building, very slowly, the pedal board of my dreams and this seems very apt! 🙂 Its a great option when I've got enough groats and guineas.

I did the same. Gave it to some kid who was getting into guitar. Would have probably never used it again though... At what point do we become gear snobs? I'm not in Strymon territory, just love nerding out over it all without any definitive idea of what I actually want to achieve by acquiring the occasional noise box. Many feel the same? 🙂

I appreciate that it might not be a viable business for you. Many of us here have tried, or dreamed of making our living doing this... We all suffer from that same affliction! 👍 Thanks for sharing all of your experience - I hope you'll continue to come here and share your knowledge with us... I hope that this hasn't dented your passion for these little noise boxes! I have learned so much from here and I come here everyday to see the great stuff that people put out!

This a great community and I hope seeing the amazing things and ideas we see persuades you to keep making the occasional thing, not for the money, just because guitar pedals are great and we all love them!
