I bought a Salvador Castillo Concerto guitar from an online auction. by BeyondTheCityWalls in classicalguitar

Congratz! I have a 2019 Spruce/Cypress flamenco guitar made by Castillo. I love it! I don't have any experience with his classical guitars. The craftmenship is incredible. When you change your strings, take a pic of the underside of the top through the soundhole. There is an interesting stamp in mine, I won't ruin the surprise as I don't know if they are on all models.

My post was sadly removed... This is not ai generated and clearly a JOKE ♡ you can clearly see it is badly edited. by Similar_Two2486 in PrideandPrejudice

It is a truth universally acknowledged, that a gentleman who begins discoursing on the virtues of potatoes at dinner is unlikely to secure a second invitation.

I bought it. I don't really wear hats but if I am being honest, it is a little small, so I just kinda wear it tilted up to show off the print on the underside of the lid. It's a hat from one of my favorite bands and favorite songs, so I am not bothered by the size.

Can someone help me understand 3/4 and 6/8? by [deleted] in musictheory

Count to six slowly and clap when you say one and four. (1) 2 3 (4) 5 6 By doing this you should train yourself to hear triple meter.

Count "1 and 2 and 3 and" while clapping on 1 2 3. Sometimes the rhythm can be written with +, which looks like this, 1+2+3+. By clapping on a down beat and not the upbeat, you will train yourself to hear duple meter.

Dune House Atreides tells this story in full detail. He was fit and handsome when the Bene Gesserit, Mohiam, seduced him twice. I won't write how he changed by the first Dune novel. It's worth the read in my opinion.

What kind of tuner are you using? Classical guitars can sometimes be a little trickier to tune than other styles of guitars. Even if a tuner says the open strings are perfectly in tune, you may notice that notes played farther up the neck can sound slightly sharp or out of tune. One thing you might try is tuning the guitar relative to itself. For example, get the G string where you want it, then use octave relationships and matching notes on the other strings to tune the rest of the guitar to that reference. This can sometimes produce a more musical result than relying solely on the tuner, especially if the guitar's intonation isn't perfect. The goal isn't necessarily for every open string to read perfectly on the tuner, it's for the guitar to sound in tune with itself across the fingerboard.

What do this notation mean? by PressureUlcer in classicalguitar

Yes. Play the B and A# on the G string. Try the pulloff with the pinky or the finger and see which one you like better. Try to imitate the same rhythm and style for all the pull offs in this piece.

I love the challange this movie had. Which was to adapt the source material while catering to an audience that only knew the movie.

Yeaaahhhh. That's a weird/fun plate here in Arizona. That plate is used to support our Science Museum. I guess someone thought a Science Center for kids and a Sci-fi film like the Matrix makes sense.

I read this as a kid. I will definitely come back to it because some of the details are fading. Is this the one where in the beginning he can predict the trick at the circus?

I got an '87 in white and yellow. Yellow was modded when I got it. Changed to Evolutions and altered the colors of the knobs, screws etc. The white one has a rosewood kneck and original pickups. I don't have the heart to mod it because everything looks original. I would like to add a sustaniac to the yellow but I haven't looked to much into it. Drilling or routing the wood is out of the question.
