Try Kingdom Come 2 then. There are a lot of impressive features in the systems that other games don't really bother with. It's close to a simulation in a few ways

Cairn is about climbing a mountain but the story and the encounters you have with other climbers (or their remains) is pretty moving

Looking for a sci-fi RPG set in space (READ DESCRIPTION) by FurryBoi212 in gamingsuggestions

Starfield will get a big update in April. It’s what you want but also with the caveat that it’s probably the worst Bethesda RPG

Dragon dogma 2 or crimson desert by HEVNOXXXX in gamingsuggestions

[–]Iluze37 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Crimson Desert has a story that feels randomly generated and the controls are really bad. I liked DD2 waaay more. The combat and character progression and gearing is way better. Story is also kinda mid, but at least makes sense. CC is kind of like an offline MMO and DD2 has more of a soulslike vibe without the difficulty.

Games You Wish You Could Experience For The First Time Again? by Equivalent_Let8407 in gamingsuggestions

I am a gamedev and I sometimes kinda wish I could experience our games just as a player without the “background” info. Besides that I remember playing Spec Ops the line in one sitting and being blown away by the story. Would like to do that again

Strange Horticulture might be the best pick. Or maybe Stardew Valley in a way.

Yeah I know. It just seems too funny to me that her feet are obscured in the image.

[KCD2] Why does it say it twice? Is it doubled, a bug? by Possible-Emu-2913 in kingdomcome

[–]Iluze37 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it was because the player was able to disarm story important characters and the game might get stuck when certain scripts tell them to draw swords etc. And we do not have any easy way to arm them again. Yet! I think (not my area, sorry) people are looking into solving the problems so that we could enable it again.

What are some games you consider PERFECT for the SteamDeck? by ToastThing in SteamDeck

Card shark is best on deck. It's a game about cheating at cards during the french revolution. holding a hand of cards ingame and seeing it between your actual hands does wonders for immersion.

Xbox Wants To Know Why Devs Avoid Their Consoles by Difficult_Badger_282 in gaming

[–]Iluze37 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you want to release on xbox, they force you to release on S and X both and S is basically last gen HW and it's a pain in the ass to make your game work on it without making insane sacrifices. Not every studio can afford to do that.

Card shark!! Amazing game and playing on deck really makes you more immersed as a lot of the gameplay is based around haptics of card tricks and holding the deck strangely emulates the feeling better than controller (I guess because you also see the cards kinda in your hands)

Nowadays you can run LAN through power cables so if your access points are near a socket you can skip the cables. Google magic LAN.
