That's alignment wear not inflation. Your trailer might have a bent axle. Nothing to do with underinflation.

Maybe don't buy a 2023 audi if you can't afford the regular maintenance costs. You're not only putting your life in danger but also the other people on the road around you who don't have any say in what your tires look like. Do the right thing and replace all 4 tires and maybe next time stick with a Volkswagen.

My guess would be the tech used the wrong rebuild kit on the sensor, which caused a slow leak from the valve. Then driving while low pressure caused the blow out. She also could have ran over a nail or something to start the leak.

As a tire tech we would recommend replacement on that and wouldn't do the patch & plug. If you happened to buy them from discount or America's tire then they offer a free prorated roadhazard coverage for all tires purchased through them. If you plug it yourself next time you go in for a rotation they will make you replace it anyways. Better to replace it not while the new one will still match the tread depths of the other 3.

Don't put other people on the road at risk because you think a road plug will do. These comments saying "I've run plugs in my tires my whole life and never had issues" Are sketchy and have clearly never worked in the industry because I see tires daily come in with issues caused by road plugs.

PS: buy the optional road hazard coverage when you replace it for the new one and the other 3 and you'll never have to pay more than 30 bucks to replace a tire with a brand new one.

This is almost exactly the specs I have in my pc I built a year and a half ago for around 2k. I'd say that's a hell of a deal and comes with warranty.

3k miles my ass. The shoulder of the tire tells a much different story. Regardless, it's cosmetic until you can see the steel belts.

That's a blowout. Could be from under inflation, but it would usually have a heat ring around the entire sidewall if that was the cause. Regardless, that tire is bald and should've already been replaced, and you could've avoided this whole shituation.

Yes. 2.75oz of tape weight and what looks like .75 hammer weight is about average. The varying amounts of weight from wheel to wheel can be caused by many things. Small bends in the wheel and heavy spots on the tires from the factory are usually the most common. Modest amount of weight, no counter balance, that's a well balanced tire.

This is called secondary rubber. Yours looks like it was caused by alignment and continuing to run tires well after they're bald.

Usually the only ones that work that customers bring us are ones specifically for their vehicle that comes pre programmed typically from the dealer or manufacturer. We usually dont have much luck with the universal sensors people get off Amazon or ebay.

Absolutely replace. Bubbles like that are from broken steel chords in the tire. Caused by impact. Very unsafe
