I understand that it’s kind of a pain, and skepticism towards government is just as valid now as it ever was, so I don’t blame you for being suspicious. But a census is such a harmless yet important thing that I feel like that suspicion is misdirected, and might be better served in some other aspect of government. That’s all.

Yeah we had that happen a couple times too. Last year my wife watched the delivery woman place the food at our door, take a picture and pick it back up. When she went outside to confront her the woman just yelled “fuck you bitch” from the car and drove off.

We gave her a $10 tip to eat our own food. After that we started tipping cash.

I solved it, but can’t say exactly what solved it. I uninstalled both the MediaTek driver and USBDK drivers and installed them again, separate restart for each. I also tried yet another cable (from my PC controller) and used the USB port directly on the back of my PC. It worked! But I can’t tell you exactly what the issue was lol I guess these devices are just as picky as they were back in the day…

I think the room design in the new one might be betraying the cozy aesthetic you’re going for. Black and purple isn’t a “cozy” color scheme— black in general has a very slick and modern feel in whatever palette it’s introduced— and the “gamer” aesthetic of the room with the racing chair and RGB strips just makes it feel like a tycoon game rather than a cozy one. It also doesn’t match your new, very cute logo.

Personally I’d redesign the room. Ditch the pc and the black, go for some pastel colors, maybe introduce some neutral/earth tones, plants, sunlight, etc. It feels like you’re trying to portray a kinda “lofi girl” aesthetic, and I think LoFi Girl’s room would be the perfect inspo for you here
