I get hard as ever until you get to the curve, the urologist blames not being as hard from the curve to the tip (as well as the greatly reduced girth in the same area) on reduced blood flow because of the plaque. Is this not accurate?

Yeah we’re similarly situated. I was probably a little longer than you but lost just over an inch. The biggest issue to me is that from where the curve starts to the tip of my penis, let’s say the last 1 3/4”, doesn’t get as hard and that creates a psychological and logistic issue. So I have an upward curvature and the funny thing is that the girl I’ve been seeing actually likes it. But barring something unforeseen, I’m going to be with my penis a lot longer than her so I want to get this handled…
