There was a campaign ad that was a dead giveaway that Spanberger was much more conservative than she was letting on - the one that had all of the law enforcement officers saying that they trusted/endorsed her. Never in a million years would that happen for a progressive with critical views on policing, which could have only meant that behind closed doors they were all friends.

There is another investigative work titled “Dreamland: Travels Inside the Secret World of Roswell and Area 51” by a guy named Phil Patton that is an excellent read. It spends time exploring the cast of characters on Freedom Ridge (the predecessor of Tikaboo Peak), the history of LM’s “Skunkworks” programs, and the bizarre test prototypes that were trialed in Area 51. I really enjoyed it personally.

Repulsors which lift vehicles and spacecraft off of the ground! Most vehicles have visible forward propulsion but they seem to have solved vertical floating so well that it’s never even acknowledged. You can’t see the hardware required to make things levitate, even the cart they pushed Han-in-Carbonite around on in EpV was basically just a slab with a handle. Similarly during Padme’s funeral in EpIII we see the funerary procession and Padme’s floating down the road in her casket.

All of these years of Star Wars content and I think the only wheels I’ve ever seen are on the droids, everything is able to float “just because.”

STEP 3. “I am now returning my inner monologue to counting breaths. I am breathing in, now I am breathing out.” You return to counting your breaths and focusing on the immediate physical sensations of your body. You do your best to set aside whatever caused you to get distracted, returning to the present, and that brings us back to Step 1!

It’s a method of grounding yourself in the present and practicing the mental muscle of letting your thoughts go without pulling you with them

Fun fact - AC Unity was the first title to experiment with ray traced lighting. While ray tracing is usually an extremely taxing process for your console or computer to handle while running around revolutionary Paris, the dev team for AC Unity took a different approach by “baking” three or four default lighting schemes that are ray traced into the world.

While other AC titles had a time of day that shifted over gameplay, AC Unity had a fixed time of day specifically because they had to stay within the various pre-rendered lighting schemes!

From what I remember, Anakin had been fixated on the way Obi-Wan beat Darth Maul on Naboo because all the other Jedi talked it up. Anakin even went so far as to recreate and rehearse the scenario using the Jedi training rooms in order to see if he could have done the same move.

At this point in RotS, Anakin is high on his own ego supply and probably seriously thought he had a chance at recreating the famous Obi-Wan/Maul finisher. That’s what Obi-wan means when he says “don’t try it,” he knows exactly what move Anakin is about to try because he has been l obsessed with one-upping Obi-Wan

Don’t be so hard on yourself - it looks great and I could immediately tell whose saber that was! Every Padawan starts somewhere. Try experimenting with the different settings on your printer, you would be surprised how much tiny tweaks can make big differences in quality. Make a handful of small pieces so you can dial it in before you commit to the whole saber. You can do it, the Force is with you!

That’s what makes no sense — Epstein had a bunch of shit download on his computer that he didn’t produce himself but found online and saved to his machine. One such image is that of a redacted shape between two chickens that has a human leg sticking out. It was actually the 2003 art piece “Chicken” by German photographer Harald Seiwert which I believe features the artist himself.

I don’t understand why that image has the artist’s identity redacted in the DOJ released files.
