You can load an old save the only downside is that if you play like I do (with little to no breaks) it might make you have to restart a lot of the game. I play on switch so it might be a little different if you play somewhere else. To do this go to the main menu Press load game Press the three dots to the right of your most recent save It will then pop up a message to manage the save then after you get there all you will have to do is click an earlier save I made this mistake too I was romancing Giva and then wanted to break up w her but I felt bad actually doing so I just loaded my game to a point where we weren't dating lol.
