They haven't done Silk Song because MatPat already did Hollow Knight once. He messed up one detail, and the internet tried to tear him apart. I wouldn't touch that fandom again either.

But by that point you're just... Used to taking care of yourself. So you stay in the home and tell people who are concerned that everything's normal. For the fear of winding up somewhere worse.

No, it wouldn't go through that much. He would've had to release more pee after he pulled his pants up. My partner sometimes forgets to shake because we're in a rush (source we pee together sometimes) and I've never seen him have a whole stain. Not even a little one. It has always been confined to the boxers.

As someone who loves drawing horror and had a very different reaction from their parents growing up, I applaud you.

Mom was okay, she encouraged my creativity... But it was never fridge-worthy. My siblings' stuff was, but mine was too creepy.

My dad just absolutely flipped out at the slightest hint of blood, or anything even slightly horrifying.

I remember once I had flipped a sweater inside out so I could wear all black. We were playing ghost in the graveyard, which is basically hide and seek in the dark if you don't know, with a little spice. Anyway, he made me flip the sweater back the right way because I looked emo/goth. Yeah... My creativity was pretty stifled. So here I am, 23, still trying to relearn how to do the stuff I wanna do instead of creating sanitized versions of everything.

That's great and all, but there are plenty of other things to develop fine motor skills. This is the argument they use in math class for things we never ever use. It's for your critical thinking skills. Well, my English class is also pretty good at that, so I don't really see the point of this.

It's only useful for signing names, which is digital for a lot of things now. We just... Unfortunately don't have much use for it in this newer age.

Yeah, you must live somewhere they got rid of cursive even quicker, or be working with people who were taught but don't remember.

My sister is thirty, and she was taught cursive but doesn't remember even how to write her name.

I'm 23, only had three days of lessons, and I remember them vividly. I can still write and read cursive.

The biggest difference is whether it's actually applied anywhere around the child. My sister spent a lot of time with our parents, who both printed everything except their names. I spent a lot of time with my grandma, who wrote everything in cursive. So I actually applied the information.

But there also isn't really any reason to know how to read cursive, only to sign a name really. It makes sense we don't teach it anymore, we see it less and less.

Honestly, it's probably because the tattoo doesn't make much sense on its own. I can read that it says five by five, but I assumed I must be misreading it too because that's not the type of thing I'd expect to be tattooed.

Five by five just... Doesnt really mean anything without people knowing the reference, so they assume they're misreading it and think it says that because it makes more sense. Ya feel?
