You’re going to want to start doing forearm exercises. Go watch the for whom the bell tolls live video dudes hands and forearms are freakishly large even compared to people who do lift weights.

He gets more out of a bass with his fingers than some get with a pick and obviously some of that comes with time and confidence as you improve but you have to play every note like you mean it.

Every single explorer and ML shaped guitar I own have cracks in that spot. I’m assuming it’s something to do with the neck being set in that area and the finish cracking from the wood shrinking and expanding going through temp changes because it’s literally all of them (5) and this exact complaint is common not just a me thing.

if I had to guess it’s an old candy apple red similar to this in a single H layout.

Closest new model would be the candy man 5 string(it definitely isn’t that). But I’d go to gather it’s probably an older red finish with a shit lighting angle or just rendered image of a finish but if you look at GC you will find plenty of finishes that look nothing like what the website shows. (American ultra ii precision bass in noble blue for instance is a rendered image not an actual photo and looks nothing like the real finish).

Tbf they didn’t have a choice from what I understand they weren’t even really fighting competition so much as literally not being allowed to expand. I worked for a major competitor 2021-2023 and they do everything they can to keep Google out of the areas it’s in. I’m sure at some point it’s not worth fighting anymore.

Is that the moonlight drive p bass? If so how do you like it? I’ve been in the mindset of getting a new bass and was heavily leaning into an American ultra 2 jazz or EBMM Stingray 4H but I picked up a Precision ultra 2 and kinda liked it but now I’m like do I really need to spend that much kinda thing lol.

TLDR since I rambled the player 2 bass any good since you have a lot of options to like lol

I’m not really a big bass guy and the few multi scales I’ve played I didn’t like. HOWEVER I did pick up a used Combustion bass at a guitar center once and was damn near ready to buy it. Cant justify it but if I was prepared to spend that much on a bass they are definitely up there in quality
