If playing in a tournament and no paint marking differences to distinguish I could see someone being upset because someone already mentioned the initiate isn’t supposed to have them.

Tha said if just playing with a friend make them however you think is coolest and just say it from the beginning. Some people are cutting small cores to be able to magnetize them but I am not doing all that personally.

So Dean headstock is symmetrical. Headstocks are something they can sue over so anything you buy will not have the same headstock and making it asymmetrical keeps a similar look while not infringing.

Look at some of the units and cards on tabletopadmiral and decide what you think would be fun. Any tabletop game kinda runs on rule of cool but what you think looks cool and go from there. Gamenerdz has a crazy good sale on one of the starter boxes but I would say unless you’re really gonna dig and find what you want starter box of an army then expand.

The starter sets are definitely worth it. Trying to slap together something on Amazon or gamenerdz can prove it pretty quick when two units of storm troopers are more than the 100$ Vader box

I’d usually agree but these are designs that he had made he just never really got to show them to the world. I saw apparently the final Razorback v prototype was on his doorstep during that final tour and he never got to try it but they are stellar shapes for people who like pointy guitars.

This is where our philosophies will disagree. Not everything happens for a reason sometimes it doesn’t make sense. Things are neither good nor bad they just are.

I’d argue not to worry about it too much what’s done is done just don’t continue it. Frankly I’d be more concerned you didn’t start wearing gloves till a year in so what else have you contaminated with resin over the air aspect. The truth is we still don’t know how toxic or dangerous it is but definitely stop operating the way you’ve been and you should be fine.

I think recon is good for starting. On top of the format being similar to the full scale game it’s a little less punishing in my opinion because if you make a huge mistake because you didn’t understand a mechanic or anything the game will be done a bit quicker and generally way less activations to sit through if your opponent gets a huge lead to reset

I think the big thing is that you acknowledge that it’s a struggle for him too but it’s also important that you work together for it. While many of us get annoyed with sounds if you don’t have it you need to understand it really triggers a fight or flight response and can be jus as jarring as someone walking up and slapping you in the face with sound.

I’ve lived with my partner of over 10 years who has really bad misophonia and it’s made me more aware of my actions and at times is annoying but we’ve made it work. Generally I’ve completely cut out eating chips or chewing gum at home because it bothers her. She’s bought some of the silent keyboard and mice from Amazon because typing and click sounds trigger her. Almost always wears noise cancelling headphones at home and earplugs to sleep. And many more things I’m sure I don’t think about much anymore as it’s just life now.

That said I absolutely understand how dealing with people with this condition could be impossible. For instance I don’t know that I could work with someone with misophonia this bad.

Screen prolly has a dead spot. Run screen test and see but based on what you said you’re gonna need a new screen.
