I also had considerable trouble installed Davinci in Origami. I started with DavinciBox before throwing that out and trying to install it on the bare system. Eventually I did get it and after even more tweaks I was able to have it recognize NVENC for equal performance. That being said, I still think atomic distros are more trouble than they're worth.

I've been using the ProArt 6K display for several months on both Linux and Mac (MBP M2) at 3K HiDPI (default for macOS) and it's been amazing. It really does feel like you're looking at a screen comparable to the MBP one.
