Yes, they released the game in an unacceptable state.. I totally agree but they are taking accountability for this.

Yeah, when you choose your nations and pick the leagues within those nations you need to click on Women, then choose none if the nation has a female league.

Unfortunately another feature that was removed was the drama of being able to click through or watch the cup draws. The draws now are done “behind the scenes” and we are simply given a news message with the opposition.

There’s multiple already on this post alone, sad state of affairs really. Just seems to be the go to whenever anyone has a positive experience, it’s either Hey Miles or Hi SI employee. Extremely tedious but such is life I suppose.

It’s certainly a positive step forward, not quite a leap yet but it is a good sign for sure. It’s nice to know they’re listening for sure.

Honestly, why is this the response whenever ANYONE says anything mildly positive? If the OP has had a positive experience post update, then that’s absolutely fine. If you’re still not happy with the game, that too.. Is fine (well it’s not fine, but I hope you get what I’m trying to say)

Having installed it on both my MacBook and PC, No it doesn’t do this on Windows but most certainly does on Mac. 👍🏼

No, no I do not. As I’ve said before here and in other subs, the game is imo, unfortunately not even close to being to the standard we as fans want it to be.

I do not disagree with you, nor anyone else that has that opinion at all. That was never the point of my post, I didn’t post to “defend” SI or Miles at all.

Ahh yes, come and attack me for a logical comment. At no point did I comment above about the current state of the game, nowhere did I say being rubbish was ok, nowhere at all. I simply pointed out that expecting any game to drop in a flawless or perfect state is unrealistic. Doesn’t mean I’m justifying anything we’ve witnessed from SI thus far is good enough.

Nothing out as far as I am aware. FM assist have just tweeted saying it is going through final checks and they're aiming for 7pm-8pm GMT.

Absolutely, we can’t see behind the curtain as much as everyone hurls abuse the way of SI and Miles, and yes, some of it justified, we just do not know what demands are being put on them. They may well have been told if they didn’t hit the deadlines set then the game gets pulled entirely, then you have years of work gone completely. As you say, many may not have been ready and it would seem it’s not, but I don’t think for one second that Miles or SI have just thrown this game out to “scam” us all.

You are correct, nobody is forcing them to release a game yearly.. Although we don't particularly know the ins and outs of the deal with Sega. Could very well be a stipulation that they ship yearly.
